Trump Timeline ... Trumpocalypse

You are missing my point to be honest. It's not that twitter isn't "open". Twitter has a limit on how many characters can be used and I simply said that discussing nuclear weapons in that format to me isn't the best option. Also the word capability could also mean "building more nukes makes us capable to launch more" I think we agree on just about everything here but I would just prefer he uses a platform where his thoughts and plans can be presented better.

I get it, I mentioned the 140 character cap in an earlier comment.

Still, I think you're missing that Trump is giving MSM a standing NY salute to MSM - and this tweeting business will continue. He's totally bypassing the media, which is great, since they've reneged on their commitment to report objectively on actual activities - all of us who don't use Hillary's and Pelosis' asses as earwarmers are so tired of the blatant editorializing in every damn piece of "news" that comes out of MSM.

To me, it's perfectly fine to launch his nuclear arms vision in a tweet like that, how he plans to go about doing it should be disseminated in a different fashion.

Your reaching with the secondary aspects of capability - starting to feel like listening to Bill muttering about the definition of what "is" is. ;-)

Peace!

Huh? Where *I'm* coming from? I'm supportive of Jews and staunchly pro-Israel - does that hurt your feelings?

So you're pro "Palestine" then? That'll be a nice little experiment, watching Jerusalem go down in flames.
Hurt my feelings?... No not at all. But it certainly seems yours are!
I believe this conversation should be in the "Racism" thread.

People often discount evidence that contradicts their firmly held beliefs. However, little is known about the neural mechanisms that govern this behavior.

We used neuroimaging to investigate the neural systems involved in maintaining belief in the face of counterevidence, presenting 40 liberals with arguments that contradicted their strongly held political and non-political views.

Challenges to political beliefs produced increased activity in the default mode network—a set of interconnected structures associated with self-representation and disengagement from the external world.

Trials with greater belief resistance showed increased response in the dorsomedial prefrontal cortex and decreased activity in the orbitofrontal cortex.

We also found that participants who changed their minds more showed less BOLD signal in the insula and the amygdala when evaluating counterevidence.

These results highlight the role of emotion in belief-change resistance and offer insight into the neural systems involved in belief maintenance, motivated reasoning, and related phenomena.

Based on what exactly? Try to clarify something for once, you haven't been able to state anything of your own yet. You're gliding around surrounded by an opaque bubble of inchoate half-statements - do elucidate things.

That's not fair, subjecting liberals to tests that forces them to engage in thought, they're totally unprepared for such activities.

Must have been child's play to set up the test though, finding counterevidence regarding any liberal concept isn't exactly heavy lifting.

"Both sides do it but Trump has mastered it" If thats case then what exactly is your argument here?

My point was both sides exaggerate and tell have truths.

The difference is Trump has crossed the line with being an out and out liar. Again, do you know who Steve banon is? Take a look at his work. You going to tell me he is a stand up guy? He is trumps favorite.

Trump has had zero problem with lying and putting out fake news. If you dont have a problem with that well, we are very different people.

Im honestly tired of talking about it man. People are going to believe what they want to believe.

Facts have taken a back set to feelings and emotion. If you honestly dont have a problem with Trumps lack of character and his tactics thats cool. Its your opinion. Im sure you believe your doing whats best. I cant fault you for that.

Merry xmas man:)

This wouldnhave been a great idea. Then we wouldn't have had to endure the past eight years of middle class torture

If you think we had it bad for the last eight years...get ready.

Your going to wish things had never changed. By the time trump and Ryan are done, medical insurance will be even higher, companies will offer even less benefits and lower wages than they do now and your going to get less out of your social security.

The whole time being feed the lie this is necessary to save the system.

While in truth its fullfilling campaign promises to donors.

Your going to miss the kenyan.

Maybe that Trump isn't allowed to "master" anything that Obama tries doing? An implied slavery reference in here somewhere? I feel so guilty all of a sudden..... LOL

Can you even put together a thought or statement that even makes the slightest bit of sense? Everytime I read anything you write I feel cheated.

Why are you talking about slavery? No one mentioned slavery. I guess if Obama is mentioned you draw a slavery connection for some reason?

I think you and I are on the same page (I admit to not reading most pages in this never-ending liberal sob story over their butthurt) so it looks like I called you on the carpet over nothing.

Still, Trump's tweet (considering how little can be conveyed in 140 characters) was pretty clear (feel free to elaborate on the other ways it can be interpreted - and let's avoid the delusional ideas of liberal tinfoil loons):

"The United States must greatly strengthen and expand its nuclear capability until such time as the world comes to its senses regarding nukes"

It was clearly about our capabilities - which have gotten quite rusty and ossified.

Personally, I'm more annoyed by his use of "its" instead of "her" when referring to the United States - I think that's ignant.

Peace!

What a surprise. You didn't understand what you were reading.

But I don't want their health insurance. I want a good, affordable major medical policy like I had before. The health insurance exchange and the crap they want to sell us for outrageous prices was the final straw for me and the Obama reign. I don't like it when someone tells me i "have" to do something. In this case buy insurance.

I am almost a libertarian so I am not praising the republicans. It's just that I only want my government to provide security and infrastructure and then leave the citizens alone. Let us take care of the rest. And if you don't pull your fair share of the load, you'll fall by the wayside until you begin to carry your share of the burden.

That is the government that I want to see running the United States of America.

Ok. Now bash away. Lol o_O

We don't have to discuss it any longer but the point you are attempting to make is just full of double standards. I mean I could list bold face lies from Hillary, Obama, Harry Reid, Bill Clinton ect. You are branding Trump as his lies being worse and that simply is not true. Perhaps the lies the left is guilty of bothers me more because I lean republican so I guess maybe that's why you feel the way you do about Trump's dishonesty. If that's the case I understand. I'm not blind to my own bias in certain circumstances and I hope you can notice you may have some as well. Merry Christmas to you also.

No sir. I agree with 90% of what you just said wholeheartedly. The only part I wouldn't agree with is that its Obama care that made it hard for you to get affordable insurance. Insurance was not affordable before Obama even took office. I remember when a policy for my girlfriend and her son cost $1200 a month with zero prior medical issues that was during George Bush reign.

I know a lot of employers have told her employees that they could no longer afford to get them insurance because of Obamacare and that's a flat out lie. that's employers not wanting to shoulder a percentage of the cost anymore.

Medical insurance has always been out rages and it's always going to be outrageous. Obama didn't fix that.

It just drives me bat shit crazy when I hear people say they can't have insurance because of Obamacare. people couldn't afford insurance for the last 30 years even before Obamacare.

Merry Christmas man
