Favorite video games when you were a kid

Here's a really old school one. The font was green on the computer I had back then.

Anybody know what this is or play it way back in the day?
Yeah thats an OLD one! Way before my time grandpa. Damn pre-Oregon trail.lol

Just bought Skyrim for the second time on the xbone last week. The wife lost me for like 3mos the first go round. That game took over my world.

Easy to do, those big open world games like elder scrolls and the fallout series are immersive as fuck.

I oughta give fallout a second look.
I only ever played the original for the 360. It had that bug where it didnt allow you to finish the game so i just gave up and moved on.
I hear they long since made a patch. It WAS an awesome game

Adventure I think. I never played it though.

That looks like my Q basic program i used to write for back years n years ago

It was called Zork and you played on DOS. It came out before I was born, but I somehow ended up with it on a computer when I was little in the 80's. It was in one of those big floppy disks and you had to have the disk to play. I'm only 33, lol.

Have you ever seen the really huge ones? They were before my time, but I had some at one time.

I had an old Tandy computer when I was in early grade school. I think like this one.

Yes, i do. The floppy disc went thru an evolution. It eventually became a hard floppy disc that was very stiff. But the original floppy disc was paper thin and indeed floppy.
Makes you feel OLD doesnt it?

Hell just get fallout 4 for your x1, it's pretty darn good. I mean it's basically skyrim but in a post apocalyptic setting with guns instead of swords

Yep, my girlfriend and I joke about how sweet everyone has it now entertainment wise. We were watching Game of Thrones the other night and one of us hit the home button on our Fire Stick and we had to load it back up and fast forward to where we left off. We were both annoyed and I reminded her there was a time that we had to catch our shows on live television and if we missed it we were just screwed until the happened to play it again.

The xbone still gets me man...i cant believe games have evolved to this level in my 32 yrs on planet earth. I been there since early so it is quite amazing really. Back in the 80s gamers were not accepted and it was some thing you did quietly. Now it is quite different

Dreamcast had the best fighting games and the best versions of fighting games. Dreamcast version of Street Fighter 3 is still the best imo.

Fun fact: when they discontinued Dreamcast all the stores were selling DC games for like $5-10 a piece. Of course this was unnecessary, because you could just download games and burn them to a CD-R and the Dreamcast would play it just fine without having to do a damn thing extra. :)

Did they start the new season already??? Or just watching old seasons?
