I tore my shoulder up I'm having surgery fri am, I was wondering who has had shoulder surgery and how long you were lad up?

the injury is as follows.

chronic tearing of the ac ligament.
their is a complete full thickness tear of the Supraspinatus tendon.
bicep labral ancor, longitudinal split proximally.
labrum fraying posteriorly and superiorly.
biceps tendon longitudinal split.
their is fraying lnvolving the cephalad articular carlilage of the humeral head.

That's a fucking mess lol

I've torn the AC a couple times, and have lots of left bicep tendon issues at the insertion from 3 pec tears on that side, but haven't needed surgery yet..

I'm sure you'll recover well and be back to killing it in no time

God damn brother. Praying for a smooth and fast recovery for you!

Best wishes for a full recovery! I have issues with my right ac joint here and there also. It gets inflamed and a bone rubs the supraspinatus.

thanks guys for your support, I told the surgeon to fix it right because I have no intention of quitting lifting.
Damn Iron im sorry to hear that bro. Get that surgery done an take a break for a lil while. Did the Doc happen to say how long the healing process would be?

Likely just age related wear n tear
Dont let it slow ya down old man
Yut!

I figure I got a good ten years of lifting left.
Ive had shoulder surgery. Your best bet it to get into rehab/physical therapy as soon as possible after surgery. That will determine how long you'll be down for. You don't want scar tissue building up or developing a frozen shoulder.

Might want to up your gh dose or possibly add some peptides for recovery (bpc-157, tb500, ghrp2 & CJC no DAC).

IIRC it took me a long time to recover because I didn' follow proper protocol. I was stubborn..

Respectfully

Edit: I found a shoulder exercise that literally put my shoulder back in place within 1hour.

I've got torn rotators in both shoulders. I have to use a machine for shoulder presses. 57 years old and everything is breaking

Keep us posted on your recovery brother
