I waited 3 years for a fight to end in 26 seconds with an exploded MCL.
Feels bad man.
That was a legit win for Francis, the sequence of events I saw Cain goes for a takedown, gets clipped by the uppercut, winces in pain on the way down and knee goes backward.

I agree, the heavyweights are the worst when it comes to this.
I'm torn because every time I see Francis on a roll with a couple wins it really looks like he's unstoppable, this fight isn't the best example but that uppercut is not to be overlooked.
The guy is still new and has much more potential. I know it's unlikely but what I would really love is to see him fall in love with training wrestling or jiu-jitsu. At 32 with little mileage on his body I don't believe its out of the question (GSP didn't learn wrestling until he was an adult). If he can develop his game he has the potential to be a world class HW due to his genetic gifts and has the potential to stay prime for a while (32 y.o body with little mileage vs 36 y.o wrestlers body that's been in wars with guys).
Francis with a ground game? Is there anything scarier??

He’s a monster man... forgot how big he was made Cain look tiny in there. Feel bad for Cain to go out like that. Anyone see Irish dragon won and had a collapsed lung. Dudes last fight broke his arm in first round kept fighting. Guys an absolute savage

Truth - I think the reason why is he casual fan has a hard time grasping how good elite wrestling is and just wants a slug fest. Sure it makes great fights but doesn’t do much in the longetivity department
I've wrestled since middle school and all the way up, if you can't wrestle you can't fight. Even guys like Chuck Liddell wrestled D1. It's the base of MMA, just ask Joe Rogan

It would be the greatest upset in the history of combat sports by far.
A lot of people are hoping for the same but they know how absurdly unlikely it is.
I really do think JJ is the greatest fighter alive right now and no one else, especially in LHW, is even close. But anything can happen in a fight.
