Reliable rx

Well thanks
Thats actually a disgrace didnt think it was possible
Can doctors over ride your decision of not writing it in the medical record if you ask them ?

Pretty sure they are required to note it in your record especially at bigger clinics. If you go to a dr that has his/her own practice, doesn’t have any contracts with insurance providers and cares about their patients more than $ you could potentially find one that may go off the record. I know in the past I mentioned something to a dr and when I switched drs and they brought it up I acted surprised and they removed it from my record. Wasn’t about AAs use, was about smoking weed, when she asked me about it i was like “huh? I’ve never smoked marijuana” and she took it out.

Well something like left ventricular/myocardial hypertrophy wouldn’t show up in blood work, you would need imaging/echo etc. just one example.
Well sure there’s some things that doesn’t show up on bloodwork. I wasn’t suggesting that, that’s a different discussion lol.
I was suggesting how one can stay on top of their health like having bloodwork done, BP monitored, ect.. (things we can do for ourselves to remain healthy overall). Maybe I worded it wrong previously.

I guess one could argue that it doesn’t matter how much work we put into our health because we could get into a car wreck and die tomorrow lol.

lol unlike a car accident an enlarged heart is a risk of aas. You can have your dr request imaging every so often. Knew someone who had an enlarged heart in his 30s.

Yes if anyone feels like they need to have that done by all means they should do so. I’m just wondering how that conversation would go down without telling the dr about abusing aas? Which was the point I was trying to make by if someone isn’t open with their dr then they need to take the steps that they can for themselves to stay healthy, with bloodwork, monitoring their BP regularly, chewing before they swallow, and so on. Lol, the chewing part I just added for shits and giggles. I think you get what I mean, or maybe I’m just beating a dead horse! Stay dead horse, geez!! Lol :D

True TRT (not bodybuilder TRT such as 250 mg test per week) the idea is to get you feeling good while staying in range and avoiding the need for AI. That's the point. Great post, sir.

120 mg/week keep many people at the top of the range.
At 150mg test e...i came back at 1330 on trt....E2 42.

Ah the friend I mentioned they found out after he died. If you’re older it should be quite easy to get regular heart check ups. If you’re on trt I would think you could just mention your concern about the impact of trt on your heart. If you’re younger and aren’t on legitimate trt you just mention having some concerns. I’ve had 2-3 ecg (including the 24 hr) and echo’s done, 1st at 16-17 the other at 30, I mentioned I had chest pains and palpitations which wasn’t a lie.

Anyway some people don’t chew their food properly

If you pay in cash, yes. It has to do with the insurance filings. they will NOT provide anything on insurance forms besides the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. They will not risk getting sued for you.

Feel free to explain...

The biggest danger with gear is the heart.

If I had to choose between taking my blood pressure every day and getting blood work, I'd choose blood pressure every time.

There are other cardiac issues that can only be identified with a stress test, EKG, and other things I'm not qualified to talk about.

At the end of the day, MOST bros are not on top of their bloods or tests. But they should be.

It's expensive I know. But it's the price of doing business in the fast lane.

Damn, your friend died of an enlarged heart in his 30s? That's terrible.

What treatment, if any, do they have for that condition?

Blood thinners? Calcium channel blockers and alpha/beta blockers?

I'm 40 and have been thing about how to game the system to get more tests done.

Not directly, but when they discovered the condition of his heart and other organs that he would have died pretty soon anyway.
