The OFFICIAL OFFICIAL NFL Smack Talk Thread

I dont think hell go any where. This is a preliminary scare tactic on Bradys behalf. But you cant kid yourself. Jerry just hired McCarthy and has money to blow and there are other teams looking to spin their bets on a 1 or 2 year deal for a possible SB. And if i recall correctly Brady is a California kid after all

He’s from the Bay Area. He was a big fan of the 49ners and hated the cowboys cause they were big rivals in the past that knocked them outta the playoffs many times. At least that’s what the sideline reporter said during a game.

All I know is that Bill and crew fucked up skipping over Jackson. Brady should get paid, but that arm dude, that arm is starting to remind me of Payton's twilight. I'm a pats fan before a Brady fan. I think the end is here for him, and I'm not terribly broken up about it. I know what waits for the Patriots next season if he is here, more of the same, imo.
No hate brother, but honestly if you think Tom's arm is going that is plain silly. There is nothing wrong with his arm, it's just as good as ever. The problem was the lack of confidence he had in the patriots garbage ass WRs as a result of all the miscommunication and dropped balls.

He's not going anywhere, simply because there's no other option. Phillip Rivers is out there, but basically the same. They need to draft a new QB in the first round and give him that year (because Bill ain't starting no rookie).

The biggest hope for the Pats is somehow getting a top notch receiver or RB, and they can't do that early in the draft, because they'll need the QB. Maybe Antonio Brown and leveon bell....

I always thought if Brady was truly the GOAT hed be able to do anything with guys coming up thru the system. Like Driver, Jennings, Davante, Nelson, Cook, Kumerow, Lazard, Scantling, Allison etc etc. If you dont know those names Rodgers has been doing it forever with draft guys.

You think we'd know who Edelman, Amendola, Gronk, or Hernandez were without Brady? I'm a patriot hater, but besides Randy Moss he's made everyone else there look good.

to me it just seems like even when he does have time and gets off an uninterrupted pass it's not where it needs to be these days. There are without a doubt other factors but that arm man, it scares me.

There's a lot of talk about that Tua kid ending up in New England. Hopefully his hip heals up well no matter where he ends up.

Brady and that system has done wonders for names that would otherwise never see primetime lights. The list of names is almost endless after all these years

Oh, and I want to point out that we very well could still have seen Hernandez on national news for some insane, drugged up event :) crazy fuck he was

Well they did review the play, and they stood with the call of TD. Simultaneous possession goes to the passing team, unless the defender gains control/catches it first which cannot happen in midair. Pass interference review only became a thing this season so that wasn’t reviewable, and PI is rarely called on hail mary passes.

Besides this was an early regular season game, that would hardly qualify as worst ever. If we’re talking about worst single call then as much as I don’t like the saints that missed PI in last years nfc championship game was way worse and likely worst or in the top five, it costed them a trip to the super bowl.
I'm talking about the saints vikings game the offensive pass interference that rudolph did for that last touchdown was bullshit. Saint's should've won. Oh well vikings will get crushed by San Fran. Lamar is gonna win superbowl.

Edelman is Brady's favourite reciever. Edelman suck's his cock in the dressing room. Swear the guy is racist only, ever throws to the white guys. Kinda like Jared Goff throwing to Cooper Kupp all the time.

Ah gotcha, thought you were talking about that 2012 sea vs gb game or “fail Mary” lol. Meh as someone who is neither a saints nor vikings fan I’d say that woulda been a ticky tack foul imo, same thing if the defender did that to the receiver. It certainly was not so bad as to reverse the call of TD especially going off of how they’ve handled PI reviews all year.

Maybe there will be a repeat push off with GB and Seattle this weekend. I'm going to guess Lockett will do it lol. Will be a good game in the cold, Rodgers might be crying icicle tears. Jones and Adams are pretty much the only players who he relies on. GB is lucky that Carson got injured too and Lynch is too old haha. Who you cheering for?

We have the preston brothers both in the top 5 for sacks this season. My prediction? Russell is gonna be eating more grass than Willie Nelson in his retirement home. EAT EAT EAT BIG MAN

lol maybe, honestly I think they shoulda at least properly reviewed the PI, just like the last sea v sf game at the end the 49ners did a blatant DPI but they never looked at it.

Anyway I’m rooting for the Seahawks, probably not their year to win the SB but I think they can handle GB. GB’s most impressive win was against the Vikings, we saw what happened when they went to SF lol while Sea came inches from beating SF twice. Lynch is pretty old but I wanna see him get the ball more, who knows maybe if he had more than 6 carries he’d of done better. Sucks they lost Carson and Penny who started playing well.

If the hawks get knocked out then basically just hoping SF loses followed by GB.

Yes, GB got absolutely wrecked by SF. Rodgers doesn't throw very many yds anymore. He had that one game mid season with 5 TD throws. Was it against the cowboys? I can't remember. Like Favre, he has pretty much carried that team on his back for 10 years. He has been doing poorly in fantasy football lol. Ya Carson is a beast, fumbles a lot, but makes up for it. I remember people calling Penny a fat running back, but once they started playing him more he did well. Lynch will see more targets this game for sure. I don't mind Seattle. Especially when "The Legion of Boom" was all together. Chancellor, Thomas 3, Sherman. However, Brian Dawkins has to be my favourite safety. Weapon X, baby!

Yeah i been waiting all season for Rodgers to arrive but he hasnt. Which is a weird standard most expect him to play at that they dont expect from other qbs. Good season i suppose but not great. More troubling is hes missing easy ones. We got a thousand yard back and an excellent D which are 2 things we havent had in the last decade from the 2nd most dominant team in the league. Which is how we got where we are. Now we have everything and #12 is playing OK. FUCKIN FIGURES
