Maybe you should look at the behavior of the people also instead of just the police.
People should not get shot for non-compliance. They don’t elsewhere.

Not saying it's right. It's how they are trained. They are not required to protect lives (innocent or other), and "officer safety is paramount". They are trained to kill in preference to risking their lives. If he did have a knife and they let him walk away like that, they showed amazing restraint.
I trained with some new cops years ago as a guest of the trainer. There was a session where all we did was stand in front of a target at the range which the trainer could move toward or away from us. If the trainer said, "he has a [weapon]", and the target was within 10', you failed if you didn't fire. You also failed if you didn't fire at least 6 rounds.

It’s hardly an accurate comparison. An innocent kid being raped by a priest is nowhere near the same thing as a knife wielding felon. What do you not comprehend about that?

Let’s not forget the guy had warrants for felony sex crime and domestic abuse. That, fighting with cops, being tazed, and going into the car for something all leads to you more than likely being shot. The guy was a bad dude who didn’t comply because he knew he was probably going to prison for a while. I’ll take a paralyzed bad guy over dead good cops any day of the week and twice on Sunday. This shouldn’t be that hard to understand.

Nowhere in any official Police report does it say he had a knife....fact is 3 cops couldn't subdue 1 man because they were out of shape and didn't follow their training, then shot him in the back 7 times..his criminal record had nothing to do with that...all law enforcement are trained in how to deal with non complaint individuals, and i guarantee you none of the training involves shooting someone in the back because you fucked up...

Elaborate on what specific training they didn’t follow? Guy had felony warrants out, was called in for domestic violence, fought off cops, was tazed, then went into his car to potentially get a gun. Are the cops supposed to wait until he gets and fires a gun at them? In shape or not after all of that you are going to get shot. It’s actually quite simple to understand. If the guy had simply complied with the cops he would only be in jail today, not in a hospital.
Again, they were lazy...I was trained this same way when i was a CO..as are all Law enforcement....he's not Obligated to be compliant, but they are Obligated to be professionals...3 cops didn't do their job properly...nowhere in LE training does it tell you to hold onto an unarmed guys shirt tail with your gun trained on him..

He didn't turn himself in that night did he? nope just got in his car and drove away...Jacob Blake was shot because police THOUGHT he MIGHT be reaching for a weapon...this dude actually had one...killed somebody and was allowed to drive off into the night
