RHR and correlation to PED dosages.. My Experience

Are you taking HGH by any chance? I have a pretty high RHR naturally but it usually only stays persistently over 70+ overnight when I add HGH. On sports TRT, it's usually only mildly elevated.
Not HGH, but I do use MK-677 whenever I'm feeling beaten up. Maybe I'll lay off of it for a while and see what happens. Thank you for asking.

Wow, thank for sharing.

Started at 1.5 IU/day, then 1.8, will start 2 IU/day this evening. BP and RHR haven't budged. Been running 280 mg/week Test Cyp and just dropped down to 150. RHR steady at 58 bpm. I don't like surprises.

Best regards.

Are my deceiving me, have you started using gh?

I'm also having trouble with high RHR i cant figure out..
On TRT testU, right now with only 2.5mg nebivol. No other bp meds, anything more drives me hypo..Bf <15%.

4-5IU HGH and 5mg/week Reta with a RHR >85.
I'm probably gonna try ivabradine next..

I don't take stimulants as well (caffeine etc), They give me panic attacks.
I have to use 10mg nebivolol, 5mg ivabradine twice a day and even diltiazem at 90mg to get a heart rate in the high 60s/low 70s if I'm on AAS, and HGH at any dose 5IU or beyond. The AAS dose becomes irrelevant if HGH is in the mix, it'll stay in the 90s+ regardless.

The HGH blows me out the water. Even Test + Tren I can keep HR at low 70s with just 5mg nebivolol at doses of 600/200. Add HGH and NOPE! No increase in nebivolol offsets it either so it definitely comes mostly from sinoatrial (SA) node stimulation vs. beta adrenergic. Add a GLP-1 agonist and you get the same SA stimulation plus vagus nerve to add to it.

I've no intentions of reprimanding you either way. I'm just surprised.

How's the regeneration? For me it's night and day, but I'm not on trt ...
That makes two of us. I'm not on TRT either, haha. Ok, starting to get back there now.

Bumped up to 2 IU/d to start week 3. Haven't noticed really anything yet.

How much do you run? Year round? Will get IGF-1 on 2 IU/day. Don't see going much higher given previous skin cancers.

I assume most of the RHR reduction is from ivabradine? Any sides? cardio etc

I don't use it. If I use it before bed it fragments my sleep and I'm not fasting for 6h every morning ... However I benefit immensely from it. My basal igf is around 100.

Thanks for your response. That's where my IGF-1 was recently. 7 years prior (before starting Test) it was double that so I figured I would give GH a try.

What's your protocol?
Week 1: 1.5 IU/day bedtime
Week 2: 2 IU/day bedtime

Just started week 3.
Week 3: 2 IU/day bedtime.

All administered IM.

Will pull IGF-1 test at 2 IU/day soon.

Sleep score is trash so GH hasn't affected it much. Typically 77/100 (+/- 2).

BP 125/70 (+/- 3)
RHR 58 (+/- 2)

Just took Test Cyp down from 280 mg/week to 125 as I can't even do a science experiment properly and have to change at least 2 DOF every time. :)

Any BP meds?

None. Ran losartan for a bit many years ago but next on my list to evaluate once I add in the mast / primo haha.
I have similar BP of yours with two different BP meds. You are in excellent health condition, hats off

Yes, but it wasn't as substantial as I expected unless it's 7.5mg or more. But that might be me personally.

And I get visual effects from Iva even at standard dose of 5mg - hard to explain but it's like someone's turned the brightness up and my whole vision has a slight light-grey tint over it. Like when you turn the brightness high on a TV and don't adjust anything else and you can see the filter it provides. I can tolerate it but prefer not to. No cardio sides as it doesn't affect the contractility of the heart, just make sure it's dosing interval is 12hrs apart.

Nebivolol 10mg and 5mg Ivabradine together usually get 95 down to 82 for me. If I nudge iva to 7.5mg it goes to around 72-75ish.

To really get it to shift, I needed Diltiazem 90mg alongside them. That not only reduces HR itself, but slows the metabolism of Ivabradine down so that any given dose is around 20% more (it affects the enzymes that metabolise it so it hangs around longer). Of couse, you can also just dose Iva to 7.5mg, but I found the 3 meds had less sides and greater effect.

That combination got me to 62-65bpm, so you can see the trio has a much stronger effect. Of course, you have to watch BP because both Nebi and Dilt impact it. So if BP becomes too low, you just use Nebi and iva, and dose the iva where necessary for personal response.

How's the edema on diltiazem?

Thanks Brother. I was so healthy a few years ago I almost dropped dead lol. So I had to back off on all the healthy habits a little bit but not much.

I rationalize I can have one unhealthy habit with the AAS/IEDs if I keep up all my sardines, brussel sprouts and carbonated water.

I am interested if my blood pressure gets hit as I take on next quest to 275 lb with low BF. It is dumb at my age but I will try. The eating part is tough though. My body currently doesn't want to budge above 255 lb.

Not too much sardines, remember the mercury xD
