Romney 2012

Re: Republicans 2012

My Tax and Spending Reform Plan
Individuals will have the option of paying a 20% flat-rate income tax and I'll cap spending at 18% of GDP.
Rick Perry: My Tax and Spending Reform Plan - WSJ.com

By RICK PERRY

The folks in Washington might not like to hear it, but the plain truth is the U.S. government spends too much. Taxes are too high, too complex, and too riddled with special interest loopholes. And our expensive entitlement system is unsustainable in the long run.

The GOP's Crackpot Agenda
The top Republican candidates share a single, radical vision: to trash the environment, shred the safety net and aid the rich.

Trash the environment, eh? How about Climategate and the climate scientists finally being ousted as scientific hacks with Climategate 2? Want to know why the Durban conference is going to fail? Look no further: http://www.allvoices.com/contributed-news/11018911-canada-wins-fossil-of-the-day-award-at-durban-climate-change-conference

That's right, Canada is telling the conference to stuff it AND the Kyoto protocols are ending at the end of this year, sooooo, Canada is turning its back on those protocols as well because Canada is catching on to the BS. Also, Canada is now creating private insurance in all provinces as a shift from single payer gets underway. The system is "imploding" and not sustainable. Brings credibility to the old adage that socialism only works until you run out of other people's money. Since Canada only has 30 million people, I put ObamaCare's collapse (if it survives the Supreme Court and the major flaw just found in the legislation where states can basically opt out by not allowing public exchanges within their border - heh) at about 1 year tops. Already those responsible for implementing it are screaming that the bill conflicts itself in so many places that they don't know what to do and want clarification (which translates to legislation, which right now would not pass the House). So bye bye AGW, and bye bye ObamaCare. That's what you get when you listen to Nanny State "we must first pass the bill to find out what's in it" Pelosi. Meanwhile, Europe is looking at the US and thinking we must be smoking crack. We are on the road to put ourselves in the same intractable position in just under five years that took them 60 years. As we dig the vacuous hole that is sucking them into oblivion, they must be thinking we are crazy.

Who want to screw the country. Not the GOP - it's the Dems. And the country is picking up on it: Battleground-State Voters Leaving the Democratic Party - 2012 Decoded

Re: Republicans 2012

Perry is entitled to his opinion and he will still be President whether you like it or not.

Again, I'm not a big fan, but I call them like I see them.

Perry takes lead in new Iowa poll; Update: Perry has double-digit national lead in PPP poll? ? Hot Air (emphasis mine and it gets better for Perry at the end of the article with a GOP vs. a PPP poll - issues with PPP are noted at the front).

Perry is going to take this.

CNN/ORC has Perry maintaining with higher electability.

Sandoval and Jindal endorse Perry - huge wins, especially with Sandoval's machine now behind Perry.

PPP poll released shows social security is hurting Rick Perry, but CNN/ORC says not so fast. PPP oversampled (as usual) and will pull in closer to elections to save their reputation.

Intrade has Perry ahead with 36.4 to Romney's 36.3 - a dead heat. However RomneyCare will bring him down as he won't be able to debate Obama on the merits of ObamaCare, leaving in place a system that will cost trillions and forever change the face of America forever.

Bottom line: Obama would lose to my dog right now. It will either Perry/Cain or Perry/Rubio on the GOP ticket and a landslide victory

It is a good day.

Wow, so PPP has Perry up after the second debate - and they are a DEM firm known to skew samples until the races come close to elections: RealClearPolitics - Latest Polls

Perry looks like he survived the second debate.

With Obama collapsing before our very eyes, say hello to your next President: Rick Perry.
