Steroid users and the unique challenge they pose to needle and syringe program workers - Dunn - 2014 - Drug and Alcohol Review - Wiley Online Library

This peer reviewed article is a small study of needle and syringe program workers in Australia and looks at their views of providing sterile injecting equipment to people who use PEDs. Overall it reflects how limited the health workers knowledge on AAS use is, even though it is stated that more people who inject steroids are using these programs. I think the authors of the article also show how little they know. Probably why most researchers will continue to misunderstand the topic and hence reinforce the stigma associated with AAS use.

Recently in Philly, they've been Educating the Workers about AAS and Peptide users.
Also, the Physicians that do the Staffing have also Updated their Education to include all PED's and the people who are using them.................. JP
P.S.
Even ran into a Doc who was Familiar with the Chondroprotector "Alflutop".
That I've used for my Hips.

There's is definately a lack of knowledge about aas use in the "everyday world" to most its taboo and demonized.. They think we're junkies, addicts etc. They don't understand most of us are athletes or hobbyists and hold ourselves to a higher standard of knowledge and control than the typical heroin addict... Outside of that matter sterile needles and syringes are easy to obtain and cheap.. if you can find/afford gear you can find/afford sterile syringes to use it IMO

There is a bi weekly exchange here in my little cow patty that I call home. I never knew that they were showing support for the other kind. I think it's a pretty cool thing that people are not only supporting safe, sterile I.v use but also safe, sterile I.m use. It's a shame that people can't be sure that they won't catch fucked up diseases but also nasty dirty things from re use. I was an I.v user for all of my adult life and never knew that the exchanges that I used also supported aas. Bravo!!
