Accutane permanent cure?

Accutane make anyone's eyes bloodshot? Looks like I'm stoned all the time now. Not sure if it's the Accutane or something else. Nothing else has changed. Diet, "supplements," etc.

Standard accutane dry eye. Mine went away after a week or so. Artificial tears will get rid of it (not "red eye" drops, just lubricanting).

I'm on 120mg per day and I have dry, red eyes. I have to use drops to keep them moisturized otherwise I end up with watery eyes from my body over compensating to relive the dryness.

I was on 120mg/day (80 morning, 40 evening) but then I started eating breakfast beforehand and the side effects (dry lips and dry mucous membranes) really set in. I wonder how much of the doses I've already taken were wasted by not taking with fat. In any case I'm down to 80mg/day (40/40) and the sides are improving.

The food is a must. If you're not sure you can manage it. spend the extra money for Sotret NF and you won't need to deal with it.

Otherwise, you can lose 80% of effectiveness without enough fat being consumed around the time of the isotretinoin.

I wonder if I'm even getting enough still. I make it a point to get around 20g of fat with the meals I take it (breakfast and dinner), but there's plenty of room for error. One thing I will say is my lips are a wreck. I can't keep enough balm on them so basically gave up. Those balms from Temu go quickly, too. Had a weird patch of red splotches show up on back of left hand, but no other side effects to note. Today I started 140mg/day.

Oh, my nose is pretty bad, too. Dry and small sores inside, but I also have gas heat and have to wonder how much that contributes (winters are usually bad for it anyway). Eyes are better lately.. not nearly as dry as they were. Skin is overall a lot more dry, especially lower legs.

Yeah and unfortunately, they're as moisturizing as it gets. I kept panic reordering them.

Sounds like it's effective though. When your hands feel "sticky", despite being clean, that's a good sign too.

At 140 expect skin turnover to be so fast you'll make it snow in your sheets.

Hey, if you need something to fill out an order and get to the $15 min, I suggest this thing. It's like an "emory rubber eraser", and it's gotten some annoying long standing stains off my stainless appliances and other metal surfaces. It's done more in 10 seconds than my cleaner spending an hour trying to remove, And it doesn't mar the brushed texture on metal.

I don't know if it's been around forever, but it's new to me and pretty amazing, so I thought I'd share, lol.

So I've not seen evidence of that yet, the skin flaking off. Should I be concerned? Wondering if I need to bump fats even more now.

I didn't see that until 3-4 months in. It sounds like you're getting the correct effects.

I only focused on fats for the morning dose.

Breakfast was 2 x-large eggs, scrambled in 1 tsp olive oil, with 1 oz cheese.

Second time of running it and I’m throwing in the towel after 8 days. First time I had it I had no side effects. Took if for 2 weeks and it did what I wanted it to do..

This time I feel like death. Constantly exhausted and miserable on just 20mg a day. I didn’t think it was the accutane until I googled accutane and fatigue and realised that’s why I feel like shit. I’m getting a couple more hours sleep than last time, but I can barely keep my eyes open through the day.

I'm half way through my 5th week. Currently on 100mg a day and noticed white dots coming from my nose and now down towards my cheeks. My ears are kinda ashy. Lips are so dry! So far getting fats in with taking it has been my biggest issue.

Pores are shrinking forcing the sebum plugs out of your nose. A good sign.

It is kind of annoying having to skew my macros a bit just so I can get enough fat. I'll be glad when I'm done with my course of it, but I'm not even yet halfway through. Monday will be my first dose of 160mg a day, which I'll hold for 12 weeks.
