Acne

Just wanted to give a quick update on my UGL accutane usage. I am on 3rd month now. 1st month I only did 25mg EOD, 2nd month 25mg ED, 3rd month did 37.5mg ED.

Just wanted to say towards end of 3rd month I woke up just magically clearer...My face was never bad but now it definately looks better(A lot less redness). What was bad was my chest and shoulders. It was mostly deep blackheads, really red all over because I would squeeze the blackheads routinely. Now its about 90% clear, and redness has subsided.

Only sides I am currently combating is dry face and lips. I put a ton of argan oil day and night and it fixes the dryness and makes my face just look overral healthier. My lips I have to constanstly apply carmex and it fixes the dryness. (The trick is to use a towel and scrub really hard on your lips to remove the dead skins on it every morning).

Overral I am extremely happy so far with the results.Only spent $60 so far on this accutane which will last me another 2 weeks. My cumulative dosage is around 9,600mg and I am only around 2,300mg in. I am planning to keep going for another 3 months at 37.5mg ED.

I think the low dosage route I took saved me from a lot of unwarranted sides.

Im still cruising and not planning to blast until everything is cleared up.

Also throwing an update in.
I've been doing 20mg EOD for 3 months on cycle. Cleared up my major back and shoulder acne. But still had some persistent acne. Towards the end I noticed more on my face starting to form so I bumped it up to 20ed. Definitely helped and lips were more chapped.
I decided to try a domestic source, because naps takes way to long and is pretty expensive still.
Found Isosource on reddit SST. This guy is awesome. And no I am not in anyway affiliated with him, though it would be cool if he gave me some nice deals cause of all the people I'm sending his way.
Guy ships really quick! I asked him to ship it out asap cause I was leaving in a week. He got it to me in 2 days.
He uses tutanota for his email and he will reply within minutes if you use the same. Check his inventory out on reddit. He's got some good brew for awesome prices and quick shipping. Anyways, sorry , ranting.
He gets his own raws and is very accurate. His tane tests spot on and is actually feeling stronger than pharma grade I was getting earlier.
I am now taking 25mg ed and it definitely knocked out the acne completely. I can safely say that I woke up and noticed a nice face and clear back. Some old red marks left over but I just tan for that.
And Dont worry I'm not shilling, or dick riding. I'm just trying to help fellow bros out who need to get rid of bad acne. It ruined my life and I wish I started accutane earlier. Hope this helped, Merry Christmas!

So is there a good protocol for accutane for someone that hasn't taken it?
It seems like everyone is increasing as they go.
Maybe just start low and implement trial and error?

Yea I started at very low dose 10mg ed. Then it cleared up alright, but took more than 2 months so I upped it to 20ed, which definitely helped. But still would get like 1 zit on my back every other day or so. I then switched to a different source and upped to 25mg ed and it showed within the week. Unfortunately right after I went on vacation and I got really burnt (which on accutane its way worse) but my back looked awesome and face was good. Couldn't see any acne scars but the problem was that my lips were so chapped that it looked like I had 2 different lower lips. So be careful on it.

I would start with low dose and see how your body reacts. Everybody is different and everyone can't follow the same protocol. Good luck

I do not know if it is effective with everyone but I figured out something that works for me :

I boil 2 l of water with salt then i let it cool and wash my face with it. My face after few mins starts burning. I do it for one week straight 3 times a day and it works.

And I use isopropyl alcohol as well for the big acne and it works for me. That's my 0.02 $ guys

Here’s What’s Causing Your Embarrassing Bacne
Here’s What’s Causing Your Embarrassing Bacne

Back acne is a confidence killer. Even the most shredded shredder at your gym will avoid tank tops if he's embarrassed to showcase his polka-dotted traps.

The most stylish dude in your office (it’s you, isn’t it?) might be hiding a secret skincare affliction under that hand-stitched Japanese chambray shirt.

You can keep it from the general public, but it's hard to conceal back acne in the bedroom or at the beach.

To banish “bacne”, you need to first understand its various causes. In some cases, minor changes to your hygiene regimen or diet might clear everything up.

Here are three of the things that conspire behind your back, each of them a likely candidate for big breakouts.

Take notes, make adjustments, and soon you’ll be back in business.

What?

This literally didn't help at all. And thanks for stating the obvious. Most of "our" Bacne is caused because of the rapid rise in your own bodies hormones trying to recover from a cycle.

I forgot to tell as well that for the most resistant acne I take doxyciline for 3 months 100 mg everyday and it is really working and effective

Accutane should be LAST resort that stuff is harsh and has lasting side effects. I know someone who took it years ago and their lips and skin are permanently dried out from it.

Thought I would post it here too, here's a good article on some Accutane studies.
For you lazy readers here's a couple highlights:

1: low dose Accutane (20mg) is effective in 92-95% of patients, which is comparable to high doses of 40mg-80mg. With obviously little to no sides

2: There is little evidence to support prescribing Accutane in regards to cumulative dosage, people should run it until their acne clears or up to 6 months.

Damn. Permanent sides? No thanks. But if your acne was super crazy bad then maybe dry lips and skin for life would be worth it. Better than living with a fucked up face that looks like someone took a shotgun to it.

Now would a lower dose of accutane like 5 or 10 mg a day be helpful for face pimples that you get from gear? Would there be permanent sides from such a low dose?

I have never heard of someone actually having perminant 'sides' but I guess it is possible because Accutane has the ability to perminant shrink your oil glands.

The sides from 40mg/day pharm grade are enough for me to drop it down to 20.

But I ain't no doctor haha.

Edit:sorry I didn't really answer your question, I'd assume essentially yes 5-10mg would be ok depending on how bad your acne is but if it isn't that bad and you only get it on cycle there are other 'safer' meds like antibiotics and retin a cream that can treat your acne.

Nice. Thanks

You gunna tell an md to "not state the obvious"? Pretty disrepectful. What's obvious to you may not be obvious to others.
Guess what, ALL of this shit regarding AAS probably seems pretty obvious to him. Should he just not give the body building community any more guidance because everyone should already know everything? 10 years ago PCT barely even exsisted, it's because of these knowledgable people "stating the obvious" like Dr. Scally that we have the information we do now.

Shit superdrol is harsh, accutane @ 20mg is a cake walk comparatively.

Sd jacked my lipids in 2 weeks.

Accutane did not show slight adverse effects til 3rd month when increased to 80mg. 40/80/80/100/100. Monitored for last 3 and stayed safe.

What percent of Humane Benzoyl Peroxide should be used? 2.5% or 10%? What is the difference? Is more better?
