Analyzer - busted

I want to know how they found out.
Likely, it was because Agilent (the machine brand) leaves a lot of backup files for security.
Even though he seemed to create a new coded username on every test. He probably didn't delete all the info/files.
It ain't easy. Agilent leaves a lot of backup files.
In retrospect he'd want to bring his own laptop and plug it to the HPLC machine so he didn't use the Unversity computer.

So now Analyzer needs to:
A. Move to china and keep on testing gear (an HPLC machine is easy to find given his knowledge)
B. Apply for a DEA job :eek::eek::eek:

You're not dead. How's life? You have a lab on Meso yet? :p:D

just go over my post over a year ago, where I "analyzed" his report, there were so many clues where it came from. Including the lab configuration how many HPLC, HPLC names etc. The results were posted by 1000+ morons who used his services all over the internet. Instead of keeping the stupid fuck shut up.

it was just matter of time for the university lab to find it.

You really think the University lab found it or him on the MESO? Some journalist reported it. You are a idiot man. Go play with your glow sticks and UV lights.

Im from the same country as analyzer. From what i've gathered form the news he was not busted but will probably be kicked out of his university for this. Journalists found him out and reported him. Dont know much more from the news but if you want I can translate some parts of the articles, just post them here.

Confused why would reporter out someone just for running tests on someone elses machines. Ok tell machine owner but why drag police and stuff in?

I’m still of the belief that “some journalist” did not find out magically while doing research but was given info by someone on this board.

The journalist went to the same university and previously wrote an article about the dangers of steroid use and the prevalence of steroids in her area, as well as steroids being purchased online. Doesn't seem very magical to me... Her research at the same university as analyzer dealt with internet users as well, seems like a perfect article to write. She had already been researching this subject prior to the article about analyzer.

If someone were going to report the guy, it seems very strange to look for an unheard of journalist with this kind of background and give them the info... If something malicious were actually going on, could have cut the journalist right out of the equation and contacted the school. Finding school admin emails and such would only take a few minutes online, why skip over that to use a journalist and put this info into the public eye?

Lol. That's exactly what he just said... Except he said it in a manner that was readable.

I truly hope your first language isn't English.

It has been said here and in other threads time and time again, if you intend to use your employer's or your educational institution's equipment to conduct illegal activities for profit, it is not merely a matter of IF, but rather a matter of WHEN you will get caught.

If you're lucky, you ONLY get punished by the owner of the equipment. If you're not so lucky, you also get punished by law enforcement.

Either way, it is a horrible idea that is not worth the potential consequences.

You snitched him out?
I was thinking the same thing.
A cromatography knowlegeable guy like mercury coulda have spotted a unique machine ID in Analyzer reports.
Google it or trace it somehow and then snitch on LE or the University.

I never said he did it.
Just theoretically possible.
