Anyone else about sick to fucking death of the term "social distancing"?

Here's a 20k ft view of Massachusetts to date

Edit it's all old and sick people dying, for like a HUGE chunk of it. Seriously. There are complications for all ages but I think the risk is worth it for low risk groups

Lol. I just posted data from Texas. You are just seeing what you want to see.
good link, there is a link to see more visual stats, good view of where you're at. It shows different percentages than my state, better tbh, but you seem to be gaining steam. Face mask and hand washing

The media is playing the same game as they did with CV19 deaths early on. The hospitalization numbers are including patients WITH CV19, even though they may be there for elective surgeries which have increased since the lockdowns have been relaxed.

Here is a very long and comprehensive article, fully referenced and up to date as of July 6. If you can work through all of this and not be convinced we've been had (again), nothing will convince you.

Second wave? Not even close.

And here’s what doctors in Houston, Texas said last week:

Hospital CEO’s including, Dr. Marc Boom with Houston Methodist, Dr. David L. Callender with Memorial Hermann Health System, Dr. Doug Lawson with St. Luke’s Health, and Mark A. Wallace with Texas Children’s Hospital, held a zoom conference, June 25, out of concern, “that recent news coverage has unnecessarily alarmed the Houston community about hospital capacity during this COVID-19 surge.” The two key major takeaways from today’s discussion: The Houston health care system has the resources and capacity necessary to treat patients with COVID-19 and otherwise…

Sigh. So why is the press making such a big deal out of the “second wave”? I don’t do politics, but if I did I would probably mention that here.

They’re screaming “second wave” yet we were told early on that this virus can’t survive in the heat. Here it’s been super hot and humid and yet they’re saying the number of cases are up. If they could actually keep their stories straight, people may be more apt to believe what they’re trying to feed us.

Lol, they did say that.

Well, it's the media. They have a very low opinion of their followers, justifiably so IMO. They aren't expected to remember facts, only fear.

Well it is a new virus so things are happening “on the fly”.
Cases around me have been next to nothing until a week or so ago. Now it’s spreading like wildfire. People around me for the most part have been laughing it off like you have. I pray you are right but I think you are dead wrong about it.

Here’s the thing though: cases don’t equal deaths and deaths have been plummeting. Cases may be on the rise but it’s also a load of bullshit that media is saying the rioting didn’t contribute to the new cases but yet even while being masked, singing in church can contribute to the spread. There is too much bullshit surrounding all of this.

The way I see it, everything has an expiration date. When it’s my time or anyone’s actual time to go, it’s time. You said in the other thread that you live like today is your last - we all should because tomorrow is promised to no one, no matter how much we want to change that.

You CAN change it though. Just wear a fucking mask. Lol.
