8 hour class, range qualification, pretty extensive back ground search, and fingerprinting.
thanks.... I stand corrected.
I thought it was a God given right to carry in Tejas. Not legislative.

My choice is a trusty ol' box cutter. No firing pin means no mandatory 5. This is a pleasing aspect.
I'm not here to start an online war. I understand the need for catharsis, though, I don't think saying "I always enjoyed watching the lights go out" speaks of a person looking for someone to lend an understanding ear.
Would anyone else consider this thread hijacked? lol

The Constitution gives specific rights to states. Amend # 2 gives the individual the right to own, carry or not is left to the states.
GOOSE,
prison guard or POG...my guess.
Even when one is talking to a fellow warrior?
What should we do? keep it inside til we find a tall building?
Flippant and en veritas are almost synonymous!
But flippant? I think not!
Do you think once a man kills for his country he is still a kid(as you implied)?
Who do they talk to? who do you talk to ?
It doesnt make you tough to keep it inside man....eventually it'll probably cause you to eat your pistol! Every 60 minutes an American vet commits suicide thats 22 PER DAY!!..explain that! In therapy thats ALL we talk about and none of my group has offed himself!
Reveal yourself..are you an aerdale? you kill a shitload of people and never see them? Or do you get up close?
In YOUR line of work?..You a Marine Corps infantryman or a Cop?
How DARE you jump in uninvited one-enlistment wonder?
You spoke before,speak again!!!
Goose
thats why he wont answer me!!!GOOSE,
prison guard or POG...my guess.
Dont like CO's Ben? HAHA!Better not be a CO.
You should get into FMA. Kali, Escrima....the Philippinos don't like to share their devastating art w/ white boys. I had to marry a Pinay (well, half Pinay, half Spanish) to gain trust.
Absolutely devastating martial art, and fun. If they are less than 10 feet from you, they will kill you before you draw/get on target.
A good instructor will take a rubber knife, chalk it up, and you will have 15 chalk marks on you in 2 seconds

Our society teaches us from a very early age that killing is the worst taboo. By the time we're old enough to understand, the message is already deeply ingrained in us - killing is wrong. The military must undo a lifetime of conditioning and convince recruits that killing is okay. Once a soldier has killed another man, he is forever changed. When he comes back to society, he is confronted with the reality that he has broken society's worst taboo - he is a killer among non-killers. How is he supposed to reconcile his past and reintegrate himself into a society that is morally opposed to what he has done? Historically, soldiers have suppressed what they've done and paid a high price as a result. That approach doesn't work. So maybe it's time soldiers share their experiences with the society in whose name they've acted.
It seems to me that the military does a good job of turning civilians into soldiers but a poor job of turning soldiers back into civilians.

According to Moores law every two years speed and memory double. The industrial revolution happened in the absence of modern monetary policy. Though I agree with you that the unregulated (free) markets that allowed cheap (child/impoverished) labor are the primary causes of the massive growth and prosperity that largely eliminated those conditions.
Absolutely, we don't see that sort of thing today. Computers have been falling in price continuously since the 1980's, and we know there's been absolutely no growth or innovation there. Intel, Microsoft, Google and Apple have been dominating the world financial markets by just siting on their cash and enjoying the effects of deflation.
On a side note, I just realized I'm arguing monetary policy on a forum where I'm supposed to be protecting my identity. I think I will bow out now and look for a pic of my kids to use for an AVI.
sure does apply, but New Mexicans are a different breed founded on the gun.I dont suspect itll get too bad for us cause no one will listen and everyone is related,The cops leave us be!! HAHA!That reminds me I left out some info for Oregon, but at the same time does this apply to the state you are taking about too goose? Any state owned building you can't walk in, any private owned you can unless the owner tells you to leave witch you should respectably leave, doesn't mean you have to, but it would be smart not to get into a pissing match to argue your rights... Haha some towns allow you to walk on schools, now teachers, its only one school that I know of, can carry while they are teaching... As long as people keep saying no to these senseless laws that will take away our gun rights we will be able to keep our rights...
