Blood Pressure

Ah, looks like the quote I posted answers the question, maximum heart rate. Thanks, PeterBond.

That looks like a huge result for not a lot of cardio effort on the HIIT. Nevertheless, they were on average still over 140 if you look at the chart.

Some folks must not have responded well at all. From the article:

"In the HIIT group, 28% of patients achieved a reduction in systolic blood pressure greater than 15 mmHg and 36% of patients had a reduction of 5-15 mmHg. The systolic blood pressure of approximately 24% of patients in the HIIT group returned to normal (<130 mmHg)."

In that 36% group were folks with as little as as 5 mmHg reduction. Also, that means that 76% could not get under 130 mmHg, and 36% had less than 5 mmHg reduction after three months of HIIT cardio. Sucks to be them.

Bit of a tangent: I would hate to be a nonresponder like you see in so many of these resistance training studies that I've read. Some people, not sure whether it's mostly innervation/CNS related and/or diet-related, just don't respond well to training and you even see a ton of muscle loss and strength loss from a regimen that makes others strong as hell. A lot of people by the raw numbers are non- or negative- responders.

Good read about which ARB to use, when and why
After reading that you'd think telmisartan is the wonder drug

I just did 3 readings back to back.
I always feel like my first reading after putting cuff on is high, just from the activity of putting it on.

136/81-64
117/72-71
120/79-69

Yes, the recommendation is to take 3 measurements at 1 min intervals, but use the average of the last 2. Or in other words; ignore the results of the first.

Day 2 now of 50mcg t4, bp seems to have dropped a point or two. Taken post afternoon nap while having my meso surfing coffee lol :) Off gear completely 5 month, off test 3 months and change.

Did both arms today going back and forth till I had 3 readings per arm. This is while having morning coffee so maybe slightly elevated?

Left arm
122/76-63
119/74-69
112/75-66

Right arm
113/72-67
124/79-67
122/66-63

Idk why but my blood pressure is bulletproof on cycle and off.

On tren ace 400mg per week and test cype ar 250mg per I was averaging 118/78

Currently test cyp 600mg per and NPP at 350mg per and my average today was 119/77

I rarely every get a reading that surpasses 120/80 and if I do I immediately retake and it is usually well below. This is strange to me cause I had almost a year of high blood pressure a few years back and the Dr's never did figure out why and it just randomly worked itself out. I was getting average readings in the 130/85 range consistently.

I was using Clonidine at 200mcg three times a day with some success for a while, and then tried switching to Valsartan because I was just sick of the inconsistency of Clonidine and the bad rebound. In the process, I discovered that Valsartan itself wasn't enough but combined with Clonidine (half dosage than previous), my BP is rock solid around 120/70 now. It's been great. Have struggled and flopped around for years. No side effects at all either. At the higher dosage, Clonidine slowed my heart a lot. Now at the lower dosage, it's perfect.

Any side effects with the Clonidine?

Bp at doctor I seen today was 109/74, 63 bpm.

Not bad for an ex smoker/ex drinker/steroid user for over 20 years who's also tall.
Wow.

Ok, I am starting to think the folks with higher blood pressure or trouble controlling it do not want to post in this thread.

Where are you?
