bluetooth headphones

I'm still searching for a comfortable pair of Bluetooth headphones. Not a fan of the jaybirds, kenevos, or sony that I've bought.

I would like to find a pair that fit just like Apple ear buds, minus the cord.

These were.about a hundred bucks, my wife bought them for me for our anniversary.
These suck, they quit working after 8 months, LG sent replacements two months ago and they quit working last night.

My beats studios 2.0 still are working great best sound quality ever, expensive as shit but a great headphone. Only issue is I swear a lot and the earmuff part is this plush leathery material and it stinks like fuck from my sweat. The powerbeats 2.0 are also pretty awesome I use those for when I run or skip or do any cardio really but I prefer the big headphones for when I'm actually working out so people can see them and don't feel the need to talk to me

To clean them just wipe the earpads off with a bit of water and Febreze. That's what I do with the earpads of my Kinivo headset.

Tried the fabreeze and airing it out but after a day when the frabreeze wore off still stinks like shit. Stops my lady friend from wearing them though so that's a win she tried to steal them to watch a movie on the laptop and put them on and went ewwww and took them off lol

In that case a tiny bit of alcohol or dish detergent on a cloth can help for the nastiest cases. Just be careful not to get any liquid into the speakers. I sweat heavily myself so I make it a point to wipe down my headsets after workout.

For earbuds I use a touch of alcohol to remove any earwax from the earplugs.

I got the jaybird x2's.

Very pricey but unlike Beats they are worth every penny. By far the best sounding set of Bluetooth buds I've owned so far.

And they have these awesome foam ear buds that form fit to the inside of your ear. Super comfortable and I've yet to have them fall out.

Best part, asked my girl to get them for my birthday so not a penny spent. Win!
They run about $180. (Edit: I just looked up the price and they run about $150 now. I got them back when they just dropped) And they come with 6 sets of buds in different sizes in both foam and rubber.

I was a rubber bud fan myself until I tried these foam buds. They changed my preference.
I like the idea but thats alot of money
Looking for others suggestions on new blue tooth ear buds
My skull candys($40) died on me

Using Sony MDR's and quite enjoy them.

They even stay in place during hill sprints.

I bought a pair of jaybirds and to me they were uncomfortable, not loud enough, and sound quality in general wasn't worth what i paid for them, and that was before they stopped working 2 weeks later. It is really hit or miss with bluetooth sets it seems.

I have 2 pairs now (so when one dies i can just pop the other pair in) $20 ones from amazon and they have lasted melike 6 months or more now. I have bought the same ones before and they lasted 3 months so...really really hit or miss lol

I need a pair that has no wires attached or a neck collar of any sort. Just a wireless pc for the ear. When i do front squats i pinched the wire that hangs off my collared skull candys and now it doesnt work :(
Wires of any sort dont work out well

Screenshot_20170727-115620.png these are the ones i currently have that stopped working. Made by skull candy. They were $40 at best buy. I got about a year out of them. Maybe a little less. Nice sound but they have terrible range. Set ur phone down and you got about 12 feet before you get static and lose volume alltogether. So in that respect they suck. No putting it in your gym locker hundred feet away, nope. Also when ever you bench or lay down and get back up the collar falls off your neck. So annoying.

I want an ear piece only. No wires or collars or strings.

You are unlikely to get that out of any of the BT headsets either. Phone will need to come with you.
My Bluetooth headset starts breaking up about 30' from phone, so I do place my phone under the bench or on a ledge and go about my workout.

Even a few times my phone gets knocked off the ledge..hairline crack on screen now

When i do fronts i usually put them on with the wire going behind my neck.

From what i have read the buds that are just single earpieces with no wires can be somewhat sketchy/unreliable.

Those Apple buds that have no wires at all are notorious for falling out and getting lost. Not to mention freaky expensive to replace.

I have a pair of Kinivo's that the band goes behind my head and they still work as had them 4 years.
