brutus79 and jballz get swole

I'm thinking of dropping the seven sets of 12 at the end of my splits. I think it is killing strength gains... @Docd187123 @insertnamehere ?

Keep them in until you start training for a PL meet. You like doing them and the conditioning will serve you well when you switch over.

Once meet training starts 7x12 even on accessory work will have to go in favor of 3x10 or 4x8 or something similar.

It is important to take care of your eating time which should be perfect and on time. Proper diet plan is also necessary to become fit and healthy. Sweet potato, white rice, pasta are the best food that you can eat properly for weight loss.

I'm no expert in this fellas, I just pick up heavy shit and lift and hope it makes me stronger and bigger but many of yall know that I just did the FST-7 program for 9 weeks and during that time my strength went way up and I broke 2 PRs. I agree that it's not a strength training program and is designed more for a body builder but refer back to Brutus and Johhnys previous logs and they defiantly added strength to their portfolio. Anyway just an observation. I fucking love FST-7 and will use it for years to come. That's just me though. I hate strength training

Truth is you dont have to go heavy all the time, total and utter bull****! There are a number of ways to develop a good physique and lifting heavy with good form is just one of them, but if you go heavy all the time and take your body to the max all the time, there is one sure fire thing you will achieve: overloading the
The truth is that even the heavy duty guys cycle their intensity. The whole purpose of training is to try to make the body re-adapt under positive stress( exercise) This can be achieved in many ways such as using a weight at 50% in a slo mo ultra contraction method that focusses on mind - muscle control us another!
The aim of the game is to stop the body from going into a status quo by utilising different routines, exercises, angles, speeds, reps and rest times, do this , eat right and most importantly and most frequently neglected: RECOVER and youll grow.
So mix it up , thats the answer IMO

I think the deads come easier for us tall guys.Bench.. well we have to bust balls and knuckles there.
Huh I always figured it would be easier for shorties on the deadlift seeing as how theirs less distance to travel but that's just imo. Then again they do say tall people have more leverage with longer limbs so maybe pulling is easier for them lol.

In general deads come easier for guys with relatively long arms

In general deads are easier for guys with relatively longer arms while benching is easier for guys with relatively shorter arms. Each of these scenarios leads to a shorter range of motion.

Gotcha bro an thanks for the clarification on that one;)

Long arms are an advantage but long legs aren't.

Maybee... I dont know really.I have never had problems with my squat and moved up like everyone shorter than me.My bench was never too hard but didnt shoot through the roof like my average height training partners.Maybee i have allways been too stuborn to notice if i ever had any disadvantages but allways have been an easy gainer way before i ever touched aas.

Being a long legged individual myself I have to squat with my feet abnormally far apart.
