300 x 3 pr... one time was a pr! 3? What?
Its insane how you keep moving the numbers up. This motivated me to try a PR on a regular flat bench press. I hit 285 for one. Fuck am I weak. BUT a PR is a PR and that is what moves you forward. My goal is 315 once by my 54th birthday in 6 months. I think I will buy myself some Mexican vitamins as an early present.

Congrats! Pr is dope shit... nothing gets me high like moving something I couldn't before. Winning that battle.

Be careful on bench brother-make sure you are driving your shoulder blades together and make sure your grip is not too wide. Shoulder injuries are forever.

Congrats on your newest PR's brutus, way to go my man!!! Very inspiring to all.
And truer words have never been spoken, shoulder injuries are forever.
I constantly battle banged up shoulders and it def holds me back from the PR's of just a few years ago. A little depressing at times but i refuse to let it beat me, i will figure out a way to overcome it.

I do 3 sets with light weight to warm up my shoulders on shoulder and chest day and I do it randomly throughout the week to keep my shoulders rehab'd. Maybe it's placebo but I swear my shoulders feel so much better. Still keeping my weights light on shoulder day because I don't want to re-injure them but they ache much less.

Obviously the range of motion is the most important part. It's the only part really lol. I've found the two key aspects are not to lean back away from the movement. Stay as upright as possible. and make sure the finish is in the double bicep pose with your hands directly to the side of your head. like if you held the end of a string in each hand it would pass through your ears. the eyelet that the rope passes through should be right in front of your nose. I notice that when my posture and range of movement are correct you can feel it in your traps and rear delt. Once you are dialed in to the movement, correct execution vs. not is night and day. Do it at least 3 times per week. I could tell by the second week that my shoulder stress was starting to decrease. I know how my shoulders at the end of my shoulder and chest workouts feel and now my shoulders don't ache nearly as much. Just remember there are no working sets. It's a warm up so keep the weight light and go slow.

Smith machine bent rows 225

Light, full range of motion, squeeze and pause at top and bottom
4 sets 12
Seated rows
Stiff core, all the way relaxed out to vicious yank and hold squeeze
7 sets 12
Ez curl drop set
4 sets 12

This 100%. Most that I have told this to initially don't get it correct and instead just move their traps a bit. The cue that seems to work in teaching people is to picture that I placed a quarter in the center of your back at the height of your sternum and then squeeze your shoulder blades and lats together strongly to try to hold the quarter between your lats.
