Still feel lousy- woke up and the whole left side of my jaw and neck are swollen. Feels like I pulled a jaw muscle or something. Anyway, went to gym and did what I could.

I personally have been enjoying it. If I hit 6 reps on a given compound lift (4-6 rep range), I move up 5 lbs the next week. It really keeps me pushing myself and competing against myself, so to speak. I've went up 5 lbs every week so far and been more motivated than I have in a long time. I'm sure you'll have similar success bro!
 
Such a weird week. So burnt out and feel like a fucking dumbass in the gym. I am going to start the sheiko program in october... looks nice- right up my alley. I don't know what my 1rm max is on squat so I decided to go for it today... and I just did max effort triples in box squats two days ago. I also didn't have my chalk, oly shoes or bands for stretching... soooooo. It didn't work out. Saturday will be max effort squat day now. Today was just painful.

Been eating prepped meals and really leaning out... keeping at a steady 270-274 or so morn - night but everyone saying I look bigger when I have been losing weight... sign of a good recomp imo. Hopefully I will be out of this retard in the gym phase... maybe when I stop working 60 hours seven days a week babysitting dozens of douches, but we shall see. I'm fucking tired brothers. Props to e eryone working harder than me all day and still training like beasts! I salute you!

Agreed. Props to everyone who works, take care of the fam, and still takes care of their body. Most of my friends have excuses that they cant workout because of work / fam. If you want it bad enough youll find a way!

You are a tough mofo Brute! Just keep in mind there is nothing wrong with taking a couple days (or three even) off to rest and eat up. Keep grinding brother.
 
I sometimes have spurts sometimes lasting up to a week or two where I'm useless in the gym.

When it happens I typically feel fine during the day but as soon as hit the gym everything goes a bit cattywampus. Zero mind/muscle connection which in turn equals no strength/pump. Not that I train for a pump but regardless of that fact if you've been trying to go balls out for the past half hour and are still almost as flat as when you walked in you can't help but feel at least mildly retarded about the circumstances. That, and it pretty much solidifies the reality that you've effectively accomplished nothing during your time there and you're forced to walk back out to the parking lot and drive home in shame.

...it never lasts too long though.

If you're trying to max out or do a mock meet for squats on Saturday you did fine today. You could've done some heavier weight, higher intensity but lower reps and sets but what you did will at least allow some built up fatigue to dissipate keeping you fresh for Saturday.

Sheiko is brutal let me tell you. Be prepared to have some bad days physically and mentally.

Man- it doesn't look like much, but this fucking killed me. There was supposed to be some ab work and squat scissors (whatever the fuck that is) but my last set of rack pulls at 440 half of a huge callus tore off... bleeding hand, bleeding shins - im out.

I have been forcing this. Life has me beaten down and I am making myself work out, but it is ugly when I am in there. My diet has been off (but clean at least thanks to meal preps) but I feel like the shrinking man. I dropped the npp a couple weeks ago and dropped growth a month or two ago. Just eq (1000wk) and test (200wk). I'm going to stay on this sheiko program for the next 16 weeks simply because I am amazed at how hard it is. Wish me luck.

Sorry the log sucks so bad guys. I am just going through the motions. Eat, work, eat, train, eat, meeting, eat, daughter, eat, gfriend, eat, bed. Repeat.

You got it homey. Your still kicking some major ass. Right now Im also cruising on 1000 EQ and 200 test a week. Slow gains but steady, and sore all the time. Keep grinding, you will love the outcome. You inspire many of us.
