Don't test 5 rep maxes the week before as it will likely leave you a little below where you should be when you test 1-rep maxes.
Your coach will likely set your first couple of training session weight, set and reps based off of the 1-rep maxes but will adjust them quickly based on what he is seeing when you lift rather than trying to plug everything into a formula which is the main problem I have with online coaching programs.
The week after my meet, for some foolish reason or another, I decided to attempt 5RM in squats, bench press, deadlifts, and OHP all in one session....a week after the meet. I still can feel the pain of that day today hahaha
