That sucks, I would try to find telmisartan somewhere. Worse case is you damage your kidneys or other organs before you are able to naturally lower it.

You can always try to find a doc who will work with you. I know someone who had bp meds prescribed at 18, granted that he’s obese but still, age shouldn’t be the factor, if you’re sick you’re sick right.

i got telmisartan from a ugl not pharma but still works
wont do anything to fast HR though

You need to actually see if you are genetically hypertensive. A lot of people have high blood pressure because of poor hydration and electrolyte imbalance. If you stop gear it’s will go down to normal.

What BP med do you take if you don't mind? My doc won't prescribe me a BP med despite being 20 with a BP of 150/90-100...ludicrous
go to a walk in clinic / see another dr. when asked say you dont have a family dr. Do not go in saying "hi I have HBP i need meds". Say You "don't feel good for a few months, and it has impacted your work, school, mental health" then list every symptom of HBP without saying HBP. If provoked mention you have an extreme family history of heart disease, everyone has HBP, say your dad died of a heart attack a year ago, etc etc etc... I bet $5 you will leave with a prescription. and if not, go to the next walk in clinic. You will get it.
