Diagnosis please.

Hey bro,
Get to a infectious disease doc or a gastro doc and have them culture your poo!
I travel to Ecuador a lot and gut bugs are common...I have picked up some Weird things before, I would personally have them look at Entoameboa Hystolitica, B.Fragilis, or even Salmonella....I have learned when traveling overseas take the medicine that they give locals on a regular basis prior to you boarding your flight...Ever since that protocol I haven't really had any issues with the exception of trailers diarhea, which only last for a couple days. I also learned start loading up on probiotics a week before traveling anywhere! So basically have doc do a poo culture and ova and parasite exam...simple tests, 3 days pooing in a bucket and dropping off at docs office and typically have results in a couple days! Good luck and keep me posted!
Thank you, probably what I will do! Will update.

I made an appointment with my GP Tuesday, please god let him have the power to just take the stool samples so I don't have to make another appointment... I don't like going to appointments to make another appointment.

Worst cases scenario: GP pokes me here, there, shake his head and say REFERRAL.

Even with e coli and salmonella they don't really use anti-biotics most the time?

Here is what I found on the most common food borne illnesses:

I read that apple cider vinegar can help so I am going to start that until the appointment and hope for something to get better.

If he gives you a referral give him a sample anyway.

are you sure they LIKE YOU AT THAT RESTAURANT...!!

Also sounds a lot like what a "Celiac" would call a "Wheat gluten allergy"...

I am not using many supplements.
sorry for not updating but I was in Mexico with my GF. After 2 days she started getting the same symptoms. Got vitamin c, charchoal and others readily available. Found that peptobismol helps and kefir a probiotic dairy product.

So we are still currently having abdominal pain, diarrhea but no vomiting. Well I vomited once today.

Persistant abdominal pain and swelling of abdomin and nausea.

Narrowed it down to it having to be the Mexican food but still can't figure out wtf it is. Has been 2 weeks now for both of us. Am ruling out some kind of a virus, correct?

But it has to do with that fucking Mexican steak fajitas....

What do?

Food poisoning? I feel symptoms would include more vomiting....

Maybe it was some indigestible steak that is "stuck"?

She has the same symptoms but hasnt vomited. She has a lot of pain after eating.

It has to be the food..... but wtf 2 weeks now?

Been eating probiotics, what's the best way to just clean the whole intestinal track? Did an enema... not the most fun thing to do esp if your gf is helping you...

Gf didn't do an enema.

2 weeks past still symptoms lingering... trust you guys on the board more tbh..

In short: ate food in mexico with GF and we are experiencing abdominal pain and diarrhea.....

No vomiting mainly diarrhea and pain and swelling in entire abdomin....

Also both abdomins hard to the touch.

You want to clean yourself out. Get some psyllium husk. NOT the powder, The whole husk. put in two heaping table spoons in at least 12 ozs of water. Stir very fast and drink before it can coagulate, like real quick. do this about every 4 hours. skip eating. You can put lemon or lime or whatever with your water. If you want to try the vinegar, get it with the mother left in. Drink lots of water.

Yeah, they do actually lol. Am sure it's E Coli, I ate somebody's shit. :D

This Apple Cider Vinegar is actually helping a lot. If you remember anything from this thread, Apple cider Vinegar ASAP if you suspect food poisoning.

VInegar??!?!? I use STRONG BEER>>>! LOL..:);)

I would get a shitload of Yogurt. Eat at least 4 regular ones per day and four "Greek" ones. The greek ones all have slightly different bacterial strain combinations. I would recommend CHOBANI, and also Dannon and Okios for the GREEKS. If you have a bacterial imbalance this should help FAST if not in a month max. Eat 4 regularz and 4 greeks a day... Call it a "DIET" and cut out other calories for 2-4 weeks... I do get "Low Fat", but not light. The artificial sweeteners ruin yogurt flavor I think...

And you don't want to wind up with a C-Difficile Infection/Imbalance.

As I understand we have a certain amount of C Diff present in our digestive tracts naturally.. It can get out of balance if something went wrong when you were on antibiotics or caught a temp bug... I have heard this bacteria is a bitch to settle down once over-abundant. Then you get in a vicious cycle with more antibiotics trying to kill it down and it gets worse some times Antibiotics is technically BACTERIAL CHEMOTHERAPY...! So obviously the prevelant bacteria will survive when faced with a broad spectrum anti-biotic. The fight fire with fire gets REAL with yogurt use... It works.. They also make some killer supplements at NOW nutrition brand for dietary bacteria support...

I used the first (3) after a serious antibiotic treatment last year. One of them made my shit smell like a SEWER, or else I was on the verge of a bad imbalance which they stopped. LOL

And I don't advertise EVER - or ENDORSE often - But this is one of them...

http://www.allstarhealth.com/

I've used this place twice now and got big boxes under 10 or 15 lbs to my door in TWO DAYS for $7-8 bucks UPS. Could have just been good timing or route. But I think they are out of California and I am in the south, so thats a big haul.. Their prices seem overall the best ITEM to ITEM.. As opposed to some guys having good prices on only certain things and then gigging you on others.. And I have used DPS Nutrition and other sites before.

On a last note YOU HAVE TO WONDER why the Brand ALIGN bacterial supplement remains twice as high a$ competitors and they have a Trade name on theirs so heavily protected.?!?!?! Do the RICH really live better. When you consider the concept of the colon and potential of "HORIZONTAL GENE TRANSFER". This notion came about due to GMO's and the safety questions they present. THE IMPLICATIONS ARE INCREDIBLE if you think about it. We are talking about potentially ALTERING your Genetic composition from swallowing food or supplements alone (I am NOT affiliating that notion with these products on the market which I have discussed here)...! You have to wonder though.??!!!!! The digestive tract turns out to be a very interesting ORGAN... I will run Align for a year once I have he cash. Its about 40$ a month.. I think. That's pretty strong.. Good luck and BE WELL...!:)

A combination of Apples, Water Melon, and Cantaloupe will send me to the shitter pretty good like a ROCKSTAR. The apples seem to add up and slow things down after a while. The melons tend to work longer. Spinach, Collards, turnips, or corn will rock you clean if used intermittently..

FYI BE WARY of the Fiber One bar products. I ate one of those bastard bars with a bowl of raisin bran and it clogged me up where the small intestine changes to large and I had a problem so bad I had to guzzle a bottle of caster oil. And the PAIN. OMG.. Thought I was gonna DIE for a day..///!
