Do people ever ask you if your taking drugs?

This have been bugging me for a long time, but almost everyone I meet are suspecting me of taking ped's. I keep my drug use pretty private, but still, everyone seems to know. Colleagues bends over their desk and pretends to jab them self in the ass when they see me, when I meet old friends tell me they have heard rumors about me and that they are concerned about my health etc.

And I'm the worst lier there is, my response is usually " Ehh.. hmm.. u.. th.. No, I'm not taking anythingo_O".

Does anyone else have the same problem, and how do you handle it?

I was accused before I even took them but now I get the same thing. "I'm concerned for your health." I can't stand that line. I wanna punch them in the fucking throat. Ignorance! And those same people I keep telling them I'm not.

I'm a bad liar as well so I have to make a joke. I say that I am and make this big dramatic lie about how much I'm taking and there like "Really?!" I laugh and say "No. Ha I get drug tested randomly." Which is all true...in a way.

I kind of care, it can affect my job and my reputation. In Norway, steroids=the devil.

I think I've heard of this before actually... Can't you get kicked out of the gym if you don't submit to a drug test? Maybe I'm thinking of a different country...

Idk if it's just in my head but I swear at the gym people are giving me the no way he's not jucin look lol. But I meet a friend on my boss 2 weeks into my cycle then at the 8th week I seen the guy again and he said "tell the truth your taking something aren't you?" And my boss who was prolly thinking it in the back of his head gave me a look like "you better say no"

When a casual acquaintance or a friend of friend I've never met comes out of his mouth bewith something like that I have to assume their goal is to make me uncomfortable. I turn the tables on them by closing the distance between us in a hot second and make any personal space they may have been enjoying, mine.
With an intense stare I ask them if they are a cop.
I've asked people in the past why they were asking such an inflammatory question and demand the name of the person spreading rumors if they aren't solely responsible.

Really ? I thought they would have a more liberal view than the USA.
They did, until the conservative party decided to ban it some years ago. But it's always been looked down upon. You think americans are ignorant? Where do you think the "dumb and blond" thing came from? ;)

Thats actually right, when you sign up to a gym they make you sign a contract made by Antidoping Norway, and give you a t-shirt saying "Clean Athlete".

And if they want you to take a drug test and you refuse, they cancel your membership and report you to the cops. So it's kind of a big deal staying under the radar.

If I'm not mistaken, there are gyms that are popping up refusing to post the stickers on there premises that denote a drug free environment and then paying the penalty.

Hopefully your area will become more enlightened as time goes on, I was sad to read about this when I first learned of it.

This would make a good topic for a thread so that awareness is spread.

:eek::eek:...Thats horrifying . The Horror.

My elementary gym teacher Mr. Stevens asked me if I was on drugs once. He also told me that I would be on the evening news. When I look back I realize it wasn't a good comment.

I had a middle school math teacher who used to smell my water daily.

My middle school principal once accused me if jocking a bag of weed. It was in my butt crack. Never was formally searched.

Every employee of every residential I ever lived in asked me if I was on drugs. The doctors would ask if I wasn't on drugs lol. Wrap your head around that one.

Everytime my 5'4" 125# father sees me he asks me if I'm on drugs. He says I'm a monster physically. When he asks if I'm on drugs I ask if he will take a paternity test. Ends that conversation fast lol.

That is crazy. I'm blown away! If someone told me that at the gym I'd call bs. I'd start my own gym.
