That some fucked up shit right there man. How bad is the tear?
I’m assuming not too bad since I didn’t know I did it. It’s a little stiff and tender. Very swollen but the bruising is not so bad. I’m about to go do 100reps on incline w/5lbs dB per the great ginger’s advice and begin my come back.

lost my voice over the weekend, sore throat, headaches, sweating, congestion, and lots of phlegm but had an amazing workout nonetheless
Dealing with the same. I don't get sick often so I blame that for me being such a pussy when I do get sick.

I worked out yesterday anyways but believe me, there was a ton of bitching and moaning.

Does everyone still hit their workouts even if they're sick? I don't think I could miss a whole week unplanned, but 2-3 days I usually just say fuck it.

I'll go if it's just sniffles but not if I'm sick... I have a tendency to never get well if I fight through it. Better to just bite the bullet and skip a day and focus on well being.

I'll do stuff like stretching, sauna, hot tub, etc.

I lift when I'm sick unless it's like the flu maybe. I always seem to get better quicker when I workout while sick vs taking off.

Same here. I'll bundle up like an Eskimo and sweat it out and usually feel better afterwards. HOWEVER, I tried this last spring and damn near died from swine-avianbird-Cambodia flu that had me down for 3 WEEKS! Wife and I both thought we were gonna meet Jesus.

11/27

Squats: 3x5
OHP: 3x5
Deadlifts: 3x5
Lat Pulldowns: 2x10
Dips: 3x6
BB curls: 3x8
rotator cuff shit

was very tired today but had a good session. Squats felt great, still doing them belt less for the moment. OHP STARTED AGGRAVATING MY FOREARM but I tweaked things and went solid. Deadlifts I was worried about bc I got the low back pumps and that bad feeling in my low back from squats. Really focused on keeping a neutral spine and driving brough with my glutes and everything went great. Deads felt really good and had good speed the whole way up.

11/29

Squats: 3x5
Bench Press: 3x5
2ct paused bench: 3x5
Pin press: 3x7
BB curls: 3x10

had low back pumps and pain all day today. From the second I woke up until it was time for the gym. Worried that it would hamper my squats today but everything went great. Squats were smooth, deep, and done belt less.

Bench press felt pretty good good but it is still my weakest lift by farrrrrrr

did 2xt paused bench to help with strength off the chest

saw Tiny and Ecks raving about pin presses and haven't done them in FOREVER so I threw them in as a tricep workout today.

Squats: 3x5
OHP: 3x5
Deadlifts: 2x5

Very poor sleep last few days. No energy today. Did all me main lifts but skipped one set of deadlifts and the extras I was going to do. Figure I'd reduce some fatigue and maybe Monday will be a good day. Have an appointment with a sleep specialist later this month and hopefully they can fix me sleep.

You snore? Any other sleep apnea symptoms?

This may be a dumb question and probably is but I’m curious for your OHP do you do it seated or standing. Does it matter or more beneficial to do sears over standing vice versa???

I never used to snore ears ago but I have for last several years. This year it's gotten much worse I'm told. I can't sleep at night but during the day I feel like I can pass out at anytime. If I sit for 10-15min I'm out like a light. I've nodded behind the wheel to the point where I pull over to walk around and wake myself up. Constant fatigue throughout the day everyday. Breathe through my mouth at night, wake up several times every night, gf says she thinks I stop breathing in my sleep, dry mouth every morning from breathing through my mouth..:: etc

I only do seated overhead presses when I use dumbells which is a lift I rarely do. Most of my pressing is either military press, push press, or jerk style pressing which is all done standing. Always standing for those lifts for me.

Sounds very much like sleep apnea man, and not a mild case of it... Do the sleep study as soon as you can.

Do you still have your tonsils?

Sounds like sleep apnea for sure--- I had same symptoms--- did the sleep study and now I sleep a lot better--- been on the CPAP for about 3 years now--- even have a couple portable ones for when I travel.
