Dr. Mariano or Dr. Crisler?

I think an open and frank discussion of treatments and results is good. On other threads, specific treatments are questioned and analyzed. It will be best if posts can direct to "treatments" and "results." IMO, I have yet to see ONE case study for successful treatment, but lots of experimentation.

NO matter how good or bad some one is even with good intent they are always going to get bashed.
When you find a medical professional that responsive to emails, phone calls, and willing to go out side medically box to try to help some one to increase better quality of life then you found a good one. People that get off on bantering others are unhappy with themselves.

I agree. A doctor who is more personal with you and your treatment is money.

OK, availability is important. Yet, beyond that attitude, a medical professional must demonstrate the educational foundation of their profession and the evidence of its effects. Evidence based practice requires that we tie our treatments to valid outcomes that have been published. This is the starting point to uphold "do no harm". In my profession, availability alone may be counter productive. Operate with the assumption that just being here is the solution to the wrong type of character disorder will prove damaging to the client and in some cases to the provider as well.

The end point is using common scientific principles which can be illustrated in the foundations of HRT many years of research to validate it. Since we use insurance alot of the time everything is documented with reasoning behind it because if anything is question by any source it is medically justified. Most of these cash only dr's rarely keep records and are fumbling around shuffling paper's during consultations. When a Dr's medical licence is on the line what they do has to be medically jusifiable.

Biggest thing people do not understand on this board is that what happened did not occur over night and will not get fixed over night. In order the body to really heal can take 6 months to 2 years or more. Ispend over 2-3 hours a day on the phone helping people with questions that they may have because I enjoy it. All of this is inbetween clients, personal trainings, and seeing patients.

oh my god......Han better have a good answer for this. Why does HAN sometimes post these INSANE stories which no sane person would believe? He might be an alright dude but hes not a fucking doctor...charging desperate people for 'consults' and advertising pretty much ALL of his posts with information on how to 'get the best doc in Northeast US'. He's in a cushy spot, making some presumably decent cash without an actual medical degree and has Dr. O there just to keep things 'legal'.

If you need a good holistic MD that specializes in lastest cutting edge HRT and accepts many insurance feel free to pm me.

One needs to find a dr that looks at the causes vs just the symptoms. I have been through the ringer with 40 different drs, $70,000 over past 7 years on medical idiots so I know what all of you are going through..

Bob,
If you are in the North eastern USA I be glad to give you a referral to a good Dr. who specialize in Hormone replacement therapy. He even takes many forms of insurances as well. PM me for details.

I would look into other issues such as adrenals, thyroid, lifestyle, hidden stressors, improper sleep, overtraining, nutritional imbalances. This information tells me nothing. More information is needed. If you need a good MD that is willing to listen please contact me. Be glad to help you out.

Now i dont know Han, ive never seen him nor spoken to him, but the shameless soliciting is pretty unscrupulous. I can be totally wrong and he might be the best person ever.

I would just like more people to come forward and outline their experiences with him and Dr.O

Isn't 'The Matrix' someone else? As far as I'm aware, he's a member of Anabolicminds.

Han posts as two other people which is Dr .O and The Matrix.
If you've been reading HANS post for years now you become very familiar with his style of writing.
These quotes from TheMatrix is totally him. Why would some random poster (TheMatrix) keep telling another member to PM him for a good referral in the same exact way that HAN has done over a hundred times....coincidence....no way!!!

If he makes 250 for a 30 minute consultation of every person and sees enough, he gets some good money coming in for very little work. He then charges a 100 dollar for each subsequent consultation done every month or so.

Money grabber, fake.

He should be banned for taking advantage of people. People like him should be treat like scammers BANNED!

Think about how many people he recruits here and if each person pays $100 per month for monthly consultations.....that's a lot of dough!! No wonder he advertises himself the way he does. Why would someone be so persistent in recruiting people that way??

Read this post of his patients ripping him. It really exposed him and Dr. Overbeck.
Read it from the beginning until the end.

HAN, can you explain the following when I was under your care:

1. I was on compounded T for 5 long months, not showing any signs of improvement.
2. It was well known that my adrenal functions were poor, but cytomel was ordered for rt3 problem before adrenals were ever considered. I responded very poorly.
3. iodoral was then suggested before the adrenals were addressed. I responded very poorly.
4. GHRP-1 was suggested before my adrenals were addressed. I responded very poorly.

After all these failures, my adrenal function is worse than ever. Before all this I was at least hanging on. Now I'm a shaking mess that has to look forward to my next dose of HC.

I'm not going to speak for HAN, I will say Dr.O is a man of integrity and a genuine care for my return to wellbeing. He is willing to work with me if I feel strongly about a direction I would like to go. Although probably not as knowlegable in HRT as Dr. Mariano, he really is nice man and I feel confident that my situation will improve in time, under his care. My recent blood tests confirm this. My major problem now is my adrenal function.

Ok think about this:

What if I went to my doctor and told him that we should start taking HRT patients because I have spent the past three years reading Meso and ATM and am practically an "expert" on it now. And he agreed. And I started advertising our services on said message board.

Would you trust this doctor?

so why has nobody sued him yet?

who really wants to deal with a lawsuit and have your personal information about your health exposed in the news...no one! It's embarrassing enough that some of us guy have no libido or ED issues and I don't need my family and friends knowing that. Now if he was a surgeon and amputated the wrong arm then I'd be suing him, but right now it's better to move on and have another doctor who is more competent then HAN and Dr. O help me get my life back.

i would sue him, i dont care about such things. Afterall it was not something that was meant to happen to me, it was a side effect of some medicine / 5 ar inhibitor herbs. If i was left alone genetically i would be fine. However side effects caused this - so why should i be embarassed, everyone could be just as unlucky.

So in my eyes, that ed and loss of libido is not a reflection on me, its a side effect, and it would effect many men the same, i was healthy before and totally normal, so i am just as much of a man as anyone else
.
Thats the mentality you should have. Dont let it get to you. Detach yourself by thinking that it is not reflecting the real you. It is the truth as well.

I would sue that slimeball and kick his ass in the process.

What you went through was similar to my case. I was put on compounded T before he even checked my adrenals or thyroid. A year after starting trt he then checked my thyroid and realized I was hypo. Many months later he checked adrenals and put me on cortef. I never improved under his care. I went on GHRP-6 and it didn't do anything for me. My lab numbers looked good on paper, but that 's it. When I told Dr. Mariano what my treatment had been for adrenals, he said it was a very incomplete treatment. You can take cortef, but if you don't address other hormones relative to adrenals then you'll always feel like shit.
