Fartacom is leaving this board.

Regardless of what water was used, I think you don't have to worry about PCOM not replacing the Vial. You could take a store credit i'm sure.
They will probably want to analyze the vial and almost guaranteed send it to Simec for testing.

Whatever criticisms are going around about PC this is almost standard procedure for them. Shit arises, test that shit and see what it is.
I think that is the only way to really know.

You should care. There could be an issue with quality assurance. You're putting this stuff in your body.

Again..could you answer the question on why I can see the table through the stopper on the vial.

Thank you
If you look at a vial the stopper is like a U shape and you're seeing through the U shape.

Left is a vial from the new order, right is he one in question. It's just the design of the stopper.

@mghoward74 you know, that picture does look like you can either see the table, or there is something there that resembles that look.

Does anyone think the skewed labels would have anything to do with this, if they are even skewed? I have a vial from them with a label not so straight. Not saying I had gear quality issues either. Just looking at all concerns and trying to compare with actual vials I have on hand.

Frank had made a comment about the skewed labels as well. The new ones look skewed similar to the one in question. I only order through Basicstero site so it shouldn't be because of a third party.

Yeah, we were actually looking at the stopper and how it looked like you could see the table through it.

They emailed me back and said their people were looking at the pictures and to hold on to the vial. They'll tell me what to do with it once they finish looking at the pictures.
Wait until they finish looking at it lol, okay. I just looked at it. If you look at it for one minute or if you look at it for 3 weeks, will you know anymore? If you decide to crack that vial, do video the entire process.

Yeah, I can see where they were trying to go with that in that post, but I'm not sure a label that's not applied perfectly carries weight at this point.

Great comment on videoing the process if you end up opening the vial. I would much rather see it be tested, but being opened already might not allow that to happen.

It looks like droplets of blood.
Which can definitely grow mold.
It could have formed above the water line on the inside of the vile then dropped to the bottom after being shaken. Who knows though?

I highly doubt the water options available and the one actually used caused this unidentified floating object (UFO) to spontaneously appear. IMO, the only two likely causes are: 1. The UFO was inadvertently captured inside the vial during manufacturing. or 2. The user intentionally placed the UFO inside.

I don't think the UFO is a living thing like mold or bacteria but rather a piece of nonliving material such as a dust clump or even a piece of cardboard/paper product. Both of those substances would expand on contact with water.

Now, if the above is true (dust, paper product, etc) and the user intentionally placed it in the vial, how large of a needle size would be required for the UFO to clear the needle and into the vial?

If not a needle, the top would have to be removed. If the top was removed, there should be evidence of the removal process like small dents along the metal. Is there visible evidence of the top being removed?

I don't want to stick my nose in where a bunch of WKM's are trying to figure something out. But as far as it being something biological. The fastest known rate of cell division is just under 10 minutes. It belongs to Pseudomonas natriegens you find it in salt water. So with the time frame that he gave. It just seems impossible for anything grow that fast. Especially since he put it in the fridge. Cold generally slows biological processes down. So it seems it would most likely be an inorganic foreign body. How it got there, who knows.

Don't worry about what anyone's title is around here. The content and substance of your posts are what matters.

@Achilles26 would you be willing to make a short video demonstration with the vial in question?

I think it would be helpful to see the vial in its functional role to confirm that the top hasn't been tampered with.

Anyone agree or disagree with this?

I'm with you, great idea! I think a video of the top of the vial, side of the vial while slowly turning it to show all the way around the vial and upside down.

Just move your phone slow and better focus is more crucial than up close blurry video.

It looks like it's free moving in the vial, so try to turn the vial so the "Gremlin" in resting on the side glass where the label doesn't hide it.
