Favorite video games when you were a kid

I download the final Fantasy tactics game (the one that was on ps1) on my phone looks and plays really fuckin good. I believe they even sped up the game play some used to take for ever waiting for the enemy to get done moving around.

If you like that I'd recommend Ogre Battle for SNES. It's a better game and way ahead of its time in my opinion. It's not very well-known for some reason though.

Also good are the Fire Emblem games from GameBoy Advance. They're pretty good strategy RPGs as well.

I had fire emblem back in the day it was really good. I'm fairly certain I had an ogre battle game for ps1...might have been a remake? I had ff1 2 and 3 on one disk.

If you guys like those games i would highly suggest checking out the Suikoden series. In my opinion they are right on par with final fantasy, i actually enjoyed them more than the final fantasy series but that's just one mans opinion.

The one on SNES was the original, second one was on N64.

Played Suikoden 2 and loved it. Definitely way up there on greatest RPGs.

Pitfall for Atari. Then it was Castlevania 2 Simon's quest and the legend of Zelda for NES. Then donkey Kong country and Mariokart for snes. Then metal gear solid and twisted metal for ps1. Then goldeneye for n64. I got into bootlegging video games in highschool. I used to solder chips in ps1's and copy the games with my 1x CD burner. Than I got into bootlegging dreamcast games, and since you didn't need a chip for those I made a shit load of money. I then got into modding Xbox's. I got a job at GameStop(although it was call electronics boutique back then) just so I could sign out two games a night and copy them. I got kids now so I don't play much anymore, other than MARIO kart for wii with them. But my favorite game of all time was the original socom for ps2. I could smoke weed and play that games for eternity. Although I just got to play battlefield 1 at my brothers house last night and that game is fucking amazing.

My brother is wanting me to come over and play Battlefield 1 with him soon. I played some other FPS with him awhile back and I'm all kinds of rusty and games right now.

Forgot about twisted metal.lol

Fire emblem was the shit @Perrin Aybara. That Zelda game on the gba was awesome too- I don't recall the full name.

For you guys who like old rpgs/ classic games I'd recommend picking up a psp cheap and downgrading your firmware so you can run emulators and roms.

Mine runs ps1, genesis, GBA, genesis, snes. There's more it can run too- I Dont think it can run N64 though. I think the processer is too slow- even overclocked it's only 333mhz.

My problem with emulators was always the controls. Psp eliminates that issue.
