First anavar cycle female

Training notes:

Upper body just being trained to failure since I can take it. Lots of heavy tbar rows, landmine presses, OHP, lat pulldown. In between upper body days I'm doing squat day and a deadlift day.

Squats being trained like this at the moment:

95x20
115x15
135 x 12
155x10
185x6
205x4
225x1

Deadlifts:
135 20
185x10
205x8
225x6
255x2
275x1 for 3 sets

Lots of light squat and deadlift variations. Sprints following each leg day and the push day. Cardio 7 days a week, 2 a day if I can swing it.
If your looking to go for heavy singles as T.E.K said lower volume before.

This will keep you fresh for the singles where it's more important to be fresh to maintain proper form then after hit the volume that you want.

why the high rep sets for the DL? If you are gonna pull doubles and singles for strength, why not cut down on the volume early on in the warm up? and get your lower back volume work in isolation exercises? @RodgerThat

impressive lifts though that's awesome!
I love, LOVE compound exercises. I can do them for a good solid hour or more. It's just the way I enjoy training. Being a desk worker I also feel I need a lot more warm up. In between those sets I'm doing goblet squats, RDLs, kickbacks - all the things to open up my hips and loosen the posterior chain and groin. I also got a new prius and it's tiny - I notice I've been a lot tighter since I exchanged my comfy sedan for the much smaller prius. The cold makes me tight too - higher reps at the lower ranges get me ready.

I often run blocks where I do it like this as well. Just feeling it this way right now. I am experimenting a bit with my endurance at lower weight as I've been putting so much mass on the bottom half. Personally, heavy singles blow up my legs. Being on the var, I want to control that a bit as I'm well developed on the lower body.

Right there with you...that's really all I do and then accessory work, very little isolation. Just a suggestion, I was just thinking if u did less work in your warm up you may be able to add 15lbs to your 1rm with strict form. I was guilty of this and @Docd187123 pointed it out for me over the winter and it made a dramatic difference.

Day 20:

I was splitting up the 15mg dose as 4am (morning workout time) 4pm and midnight, but the nighttime dose caused insomnia aND painful pumps during sleep, so I switched to 7.5 mg morning and afternoon.

Taking 7.5 all at once this morning had a very noticeable effect on blood pressure and I've been feeling a bit weird all morning.

No sides so far tho. Nothing! I think my armpit hair seems to grow in faster, I sweat more, and have a stronger body odor (never was a smelly person even when I sweat, so it's not bad, just different). No acne tho, and my skin is actually better. Libido is very low but I know that eating at a deficit and working out a shitton usually kills my libido.

Taking a rest day has been tough, but my body is needing it. I ate a bit more the past two days and am convincing myself to rest today as I want to have results but also want to be healthy. :)

Rest days used to kill me. Especially when I first transitioned to powerlifting. Before I was your classic overtrainer for 8 years (7 days a week), and didnt know what to do only training 3 - 4 days. I found that the rest does help a lot as far as my next training day. Ive made more strength and mass gains in 9 months than I did in 9 years now. Of course copious amounts of AAS help too.

Did you ever train powerlifting natty, or just on gear?

I'm doing a hybrid program kind of like PHAT now, but I did strict powerlifting natty. I'm so tempted to ditch the hypertrophy just get super strong on the var and go full fucking GVT, but the results even this early on are keeping me on the BB course and I'm addicted to the physique aspect at the moment.

Powerlifter guys are so hot. They have the juiciest butts!

I did the main movements before natty, but by the time I decided to switch to a program that was purely PL I was already cycling. There was some other stuff that led to my decision to make the change though.
 
Hi! Female 30/5'7/165lbs 24% BF

I'm on my first Anavar only cycle.

Goals are to get leaner while preserving hard earned muscle, so I'm cutting. I would ideally like to work on things such as pull ups and core.

Day 4 and I'm honestly not feeling very good. Lethargic, no appetite and my entire body feels as if it was a giant cramp, especially my lower back. I'm drinking 1.5 gallons of water a day.

First day I took 5mg in the morning. Second/third day I took 5mg morning and 2.5mg afternoon. I'm taking an EC stack as well, which I have been on since losing 115 lbs a year and a half ago. Milk thistle, mag, potassium, multi, creatine and fish oil.

Today I dropped it down to 2.5mg. I went to the gym as usual at 430am for legs (running a powerbuilding PPL + 30 min of fasted cardio everyday) and was feeling like crap. Went right back home. In my brain fog, I realized I took my normal EC stack without the caffeine. Cramp, headache, nausea...today I feel almost like I have flu. I had more carbs than usual yesterday and am so bloated as well.

I am keeping a detailed log for myself and want to supplement with this online log as I feel a bit alone in this endeavor.
I have been wanting to stay on my ec stack as well. Only because I naturally have a large appetite. However I haven't taken a break in a while and am thinking this would be beneficial. My husband told me I should take the milk thistle as well and with being on ec stack for so long maybe it will be good to flush the liver a little. I am a little hesitant with that.

My biggest worry on an ECA or EC stack is blood pressure and tachycardia, not liver values. I would skip the Milk Thistle. I do not put much value in any of the Milk Thistle or Liv52 products anyway. They were determined effective on patients with end stage liver disease, not healthy subjects...

-Check your BP and other vitals. If worried about your liver, get baseline labs. You will find ALT and AST levels fluctuate a bit and unless you have an elevated bilirubin with them, they will go back to normal in time if they are elevated.

Also read a thread about taking vit b12 for acne. I have always had flawless skin and this worries me as I scar easily.

I have never had any luck with B12 for acne, but I have friends that use it and have had good results. I would think it is worth giving it a try. Also antibacterial body wash is very effective, along with African Black soap (you can find on Amazon) both are good at preventing acne as well.

Perfect!!! Thank you so much. I couldn't handle the acne. I get one small now and it freaks me out and if I touch it it scars it's terrible. So glad to have some feedback in this area. It's my one main concern.
