First cycle log and meet prep

@Mr.B66 I took some breakfast and lunch pictures the other day and forgot to post them. Here you go.

Breakfast was an omelet of four eggs, diced green peppers, onions, jalapenos and mushrooms. Diced potatoes with a little garlic. You can see the rest. Green and hibiscus tea in the cup.

This was my lunch at work. Some leftover pizza from going out to eat with the family over the weekend at an authentic Italian place. The rest you can see.

That's a way to start the new year off right!

The deadlifts will be absolutely brutal, but it'll be good for simulating meet conditions. The plan is this:

Low bar squat with wraps 435 5x2+
Paused bench press 330 5x2+
Sumo deadlift 540 4x2+
Close-grip bench 260 3x8

Based on the AMRAPs I'll figure out next Saturday's 2RM @RPE 9 for each lift. From there I should know what my openers and second attempts will be and roughly what my final attempts will be. Of course I'll keep those numbers somewhat flexible. From there it'll be deload and practice of the movements with light weight.

Five minute bicycle warm-up
Squat warm-up, stretches and rolling pin
Squat with wraps 435 4x2, 435x4
Bench press warm-up and stretches
Paused bench press 330 4x2, 330x4

Five minute cardio

I skipped my usual extras and some cardio after being here nearly four hours. I'm beat and my form felt rough on the deadlifts, but I got the reps clean, no hitching and didn't miss a rep. Feeling good about it. Worst thing now is I'm behind on calories after being here so long.
 
Weight was 236lbs today.

Five minute cardio warm-up
3x15 hamstring curls superset with 30 second hamstring stretches with bands
3x15 of those inner thigh machine things superset with foam rolling of the same area
Shoulder and rotator cuff work
Strict press 165 3x6
Weighted chin ups +45 (281lbs total) 3x7
Should've been 5x7, but I'm feeling beat up, so finished with 2x10 neutral grip lat pull downs
Cable triceps push downs 3x20
Cable curls 3x20 (single arm)
Cable rear delt flyes 3x10
20 minutes of stationary bicycle

Mostly just looking to get the blood flowing today. I don't know what's going on with the appetite, I've still managed around 4000 calories a day lately, so it should be enough for recovery and to maintain. I was feeling kind of sick a few days ago. Exhausted and lethargic feeling, could have sworn it was blood pressure symptoms, but I never had a reading above 120's over 80's. My throat felt kind of scratchy, too. I'm thinking it was just lingering exhaustion from the holidays. I'm feeling better now, just not much appetite, so hopefully a few more nights of sleep will get me right.
 
So I tried out the SBD knee sleeves today. Fucking Awesome! They are everything @RodgerThat made them out to be. I don't know why I waited this long but I had 0 pain, popping or creaking in my knees today

Good to hear about zero pain. I guess I'm holding off for the Slingshot sleeves, they finally emailed me back and said two weeks till they have more in stock.
