Gear review

And with those they aren't doing anything as far as giving you a major advantage, other than keeping your wrists from snapping, correct?

And also, are they obtrusive? Or would I be fine doing my press, and then jumping right up and doing a set of rows without having to keep taking them off and putting them back on again?

They are aloud in raw powerlifting so no they aren't seen as a major advantage. They are also perfectly fine to wear for an entire workout if you please but I only wear mine during heavy bench days. But if your doing super sets between your bench I wouldn't bother taking them off.

I am also a bit of a gear nut and currently been using my new fat grips, crazy forearm pump on arms and back day. I think i may invest in one of those sling shots just not really sure how to incorporate it.....

I use my slingshot once every 2 weeks for a heavy chest day and overload by 10% for a 3x3 then do regular bench for a 3x3 so I.E 295 3x3 slingshot then 245 3x3 regular bench. Really helped me with a bench pleateau

Weird, I almost made a thread similar to this the other day because I tried out some Fat Gripz and loved them!

Has anyone used Fat Gripz consistently and had an improvement in forearm development?

Also looking into something to protect my knees when squatting, I'll check out those sbd sleeves
Over the years I have used multiple brands of knee sleeves. Titan, TK, Rehband, and various off brands. After picking up a pair of sbd I will never go back to another brand. The compression, warmth, durability, and over all stability they have provided are unmatched by any other brand. Imo you can't go wrong with making the investment with sbd's.

I am for sure a SBD guy as well being as most of my gear is SBD but I will say that the slingshot sTrong sleeves are a contender with SBD especially if you have a large calve as it's easier to pull on and has the same support but for myself SBD is the winner as well and I've had 5 different kinds of knee sleeves and used probably 8 different brands total now.

Just ordered a pair of fat gripz dammit I have no self control when it comes to lifting gear, on the plus side I'll have a review for you boys on them in the coming weeks

@NovaFlex no the slingshot isn't a resistant band it is an aid. It would kind of give you the same results as a reverse band bench in a power rack but the slingshot is better because it forces you into a proper benching position and you get a better feel for how you are suppose to bench.
