Height vs arm size

Most guys who lack in arm size tend to neglect their triceps. It's a simple truth - if the back of your upper arm is straight without a tricep peak, your arms will never look big.

It's the same as trying to have thick legs without hammies, really.

This just made me check mine.. I suffer from small arms vs the rest of my body... still have a decent tricep curve however, guess its just a waiting game lol..

6'3" in my work boots (so more like 6'2" in reality). I like being tall, but despise tall-guy genetics as far as muscle goes. My arms are a hair over 16.5", maybe a hair under 17" with a damn good pump. 13.5" at the elbows.

Jealous as fuck of the shorter guys who can get 17-18" arms without even thinking about it.

Erm @Kinetic. .. We short folk don't magically get bigger arms - ours just look bigger.

I know you guys work for it, I guess it just seems to show quicker. I was tall and athletic (read: lanky) all my life, so it seems to be taking forever for me to gain a damn inch in my arms even now that I'm older and can gain weight easier. I'll get some 18+" pipes one of these damn days...

That's the right attitude :) 18' arms on a 5'10" dude look a lot bigger than on tall(er) guy, but proportionally it's probably easier for the treefolk to get there.

An inch is a lot to gain in the arms. I'd focus on the triceps if you're in a hurry.

Personally, I'd be prepared to sacrifice an inch if I could have more pronounced peaks - my biceps are long and flat :(

It doesnt have anything to do with height
It has to so with genetics

Not a word of a lie there. After thinking about it, I don't see how I would be able to lose an inch and have a more pronounced peak unless I add another inch :D Currently at ~21" cold, but I've probably only been able to add half and inch over the past 3 years. If I wasn't so old, I might have tried slin...

21 inch(!)
I guess the peak ultimately comes down to genetics, nothing to be pissed off about with guns like that though bro!

Yeah. And the benefit is chicks can see my guns when I'm wearing a tee :D

I'm 5'10" and shrinking :( Will need Tom Cruise shoes soon.

My trt doc told me to start taking D3, after I asked how I lost an inch in height.

Mrhat

I reckon shrinkage is inevitable - I was on 6iu of GH pd for a year, always sup with vit D, and try to get sun as often as I can.

I also had a few dexa scans done, and my bone density has always been pretty high - the last time my BMD was 1.424 with T- and Z-scores both at 2.1. Isn't that where vit d comes into play? If so, I probably don't need more :)

I think it's more likely the heavy lifting that's compressing me.

Maybe look into one of those inversion tables? They're supposed to be good for your back.
