How to increase beard growth w/o TRT & low T?

As one of the symptoms of low T is very little facial hair this has always bothered me from a confidence point of view.

I don't have the option of TRT right now so has anyone successfully increased facial hair/beard growth through other means (DHT cream for instance or does this convert to T an lower natural T?)?

Surely must be some guys out there with success but something tells me if there was a product that improves facial hair growth many would already be buying it. Such a products that claim to do this are at links below - anyone tried these?

I'm in a similar boat brother... I've been to tons of different forums trying to get the facts on this but there simply isn't much info available and most people's experiments have had lackluster results. The general train of thought I came across was that you should just wait it out and hope more comes in with age. Some people have tried rogain and similar topical treatments. Testosterone treatments post puberty tend to be innefective. In the end it is a waste of money to go down that path. And remember that a lot of guys hate the hassle of deeling with it constantly.

I've always been able to have a full and thick mustache, but sparse beard, so I don't even try anymore. I don't believe there is anything you can do about it.:)

Thanks guys I thought as much.

However james23 what were your total t levels and e2 levels whilst taking TRT? I don't believe that if they were suitable high enough you would not have beard growth except maybe for particular genetic traits like Chinese for example. Virtually all people you see posting vids on YouTube on TRt experience much more growth. All my family has stubble/beard growth all over their face but I have minimal amount on chin etc that does not spread high on my cheeks. That's a simple result of my low T and I'm absolutely certain if T was higher it would grow in much more.

No doubt the right vitamins etc help but all these pills are just marketing gimmicks in my opinion for people on correct diets anyway.

I'm plain old European. The type that is supposed to get male pattern baldness (which I did get from TRT) and a big beard.

I have the same facial hair distribution as you do. Small amount on the upper lip, sparse hair all over the neck, extremely sparse sideburns, and completely clean cheeks..

10 years of TRT gave me no growth whatsoever. TT up to the 1200 ng/dL level. DHT double normal. E2 kept in check with an AI (~20.)

You'll find it interesting that this particular hair distribution is the same as for women with high androgens (PCOS.) Just Google "PCOS beard" and select the image search.

If you are absolutely sure just do it dude... what the fuck are you asking for? Youtube videos are best case scenarios and often are on patients going through puberty late due to hormone imbalances... if this is you then by all means I apologize. In reality most of the effective beard growth cases happen in transexual women to men. Again if this is you go for it:)

This is what I have seen posted hundreds of times by other people. These are the results you should be expecting.

I had been wondering about this as last summer I grew out my "beard" and it was light brown/blonde... ive been blasting/cruising this last year, fall cycle was 500mg/tbol 16 weeker, spring was tren/mast/test/var 9 weeker, and my facial hair seems to have gotten ALOT darker and thicker than the previous year.

I'll be 26 very shortly, so maybe this was just time for my beard to start getting a little manlier or something.. or the AAS has mutated me.

idk, ill take it though.

Let me help you out

Trt definitely increases facial and body hair

Since you don't want trt. .

Take an estrogen blocker and take rogaine.

The estrogen blocker will definitely increase facial hair ,

Those are high numbers for sure and must say I'm surprised you got no further beard growth but most people would get an increase if on it long enough I believe. Did you not get any benefits form TRt at those levels? Stronger bones, more muscle, better erections etc seems odd if you didn't with e2 in check. Maybe total t was too high for your body and 700-800 would have been better. Did you use hcg at all?

Jungle john - I'm 35 and no I'm not a transgender lol.

Ski - sounds like you have the response I would expect from exogenous testosterone.

Blazinshotguns - how will e2 blocker increase facial hair...are you saying it will increase Lh and therefore increase testosterone? This would only work if secondary...my e2 is 20-30 at the moment ...I wouldn't want to drive it lower than 15 surely...

Britman if your block estrogen conversion your body will convert T to more dht instead of estrogen. If your a white man expect hairloss with your quest for a beard

Didn't that take a toll on your scalp hair?

growing facial hair is a pain in the ass.... I have to shave every morning and even by late evening it is starting to come in, by the next morning I wake up and it really needs shaving asap... I don't really like to be seen all stubbly being clean shaven looks much better

Ok, so I'm 23 and my facial hair only grows on my chin and mustache with sparse growth on my jaw line and sideburns. Honestly I want a beard bc I would enjoy stroking it lol I know that sounds bad but yeah anyway. It's not about image with me it's comfort and also a bit of functionality. It would expect my face warm in the winter months. I'm hoping it will come with age seeing as I'm still young but who knows.

This is largely a matter of genetics. When I was younger my natural T levels were over 1,000 and at 38 I'm in the mid 600s. I'm Italian, Irish, and Swedish (more Irish than anything). At no point have I ever been able to grow a full, thick beard and at no point past the age of 16 have I given a shit. Honestly, I hate having to shave every day ... fucking pain in the ass.

Growing a beard is all genetics. The same as how the grain grows. If you can't grow facial hair naturally , trt or any cycle will not make it grow. The only thing that I noticed being on trt or a cycle is that it grows faster. Just because is in style to have a beard everybody wants one. I find it's more work grooming my beard then shaving.

Not so sure about this. My chest hair didn't sprout until TRT around age 28. Also, those of us with facial hair deficiency still have to shave everyday, except we're shaving a worthless neck beard and/or disconnected mustache.
