HPTA restart after TRT.

4 weeks of Clomifen 25mg ED
Total testosterone: 11,3nmol/l (8-29)
That translates to 326ng/dl

I've been feeling like shit, and still having the same heart palpitations, so no relief there.
I'm starting to think trt wasn't the cause of my increased amount of palpitations after all.
Also, the fact that my balls required huge doses of hcg to produce even mid range testosterone, would point towards that I'm secondary, and there is nothing else to do than trt. I did feel a lot better on trt after all. Only negative were the palpitations and migraines with aura.

My trt doc already told me that he doesn't think I'll be able to be without trt.

Anyways, I guess I'll just keep taking Clomifen and get a wider blood test on 2 month mark. Gonna need to see if what my LH is.

Gotta say tho, I'm kinda disappointed. I thought one month on clomifen would have given me better levels.

Well, it looks like trt wasn't the cause of my heart problems after all.
I had pretty bad arrhythmia yesterday and had to go to the ER.
Luckily my heart returned to its normal sinus rhythm by itself, and there was no need for cardioversion. I've had id done once before.

I was so hopeful that quitting trt would fix my issues, because they started pretty much after I was put on trt.
Weird thing is that I was on "self trt" aka cruise dose before that and didn't have issues.

Anyways.. Just really bummed that this was not the answer.

Got arrhythmia today too.
It seems that clomid aggravates it.
Not taking that shit anymore that's for sure.
I'll see if it helps.

Wanted to get bloods because of suspected high estrogen.

E2: 0.13 nmol/l (<0.15)
LH: 9.58 IU/l (1.50-9.30)
Total testosterone: 16.7 nmol/l (8-29)
SHBG: 29 nmol/l (15-95)
Free testosterone: 274 pmol/l (155-800)

Estrogen is within the range, but imo a bit high compared to my testosterone.
Still probably not the reason for me feeling like crap thought?
LH being that high with those testosterone levels suggests primarily hypogonadism right?

A little update.

I was on clomid for about a month and had to quit it because got bad arrhythmia while on it.

Now it's been 44 days without clomid and I got total testosterone checked.
Total testosterone: 16,5nmol/l (8-29) which translates to 476ng/dl

I didn't take other blood tests, because I was pretty sure my testosterone would have been under the range.
With my current level I wouldn't even be admitted trt so I'm pretty shocked why I still feel like shit.
I have ok testosterone level, but I still have:
-Brain fog
-Anxiety
-Loss of interest and drive

Lethargy has started to ease out a little, so I'm hoping things will get better.
I was already given a green light for hopping back on trt by my doctor, so if things don't improve, I can just get back on.

Whats yiur free test?

Because of the unresolved issues I had on TRT.
I had heart painful heart palpitations, arrhythmia and really bad aural migraines. Also my blood pressure went up, and injections get tiring after a while.

I'm concerned why I still feel like crap tho while having ok total testosterone level.
What was your weekly dosage. Also what was yoyr free&total T sitting at?

We tried different dosages with my doctor.
By the way goddamn I have bad brain fog.. Constantly keep making typing errors. Shit.

Anyways. I do believe that the problem was the medicine itself. We tried sustanon and gel. Both sucked.

Now my doctor prescribed me Nebido (testosterone undecanoate) which is a lot more stable, and doc thinks it would be better for me.
Holy crap this brain fog thought.. Didn't even notice how bad it was before started typing. Makes writing a real pain in the ass.

So you dont know your dose?

Do you feel ok now? If so, what helped?
Honestly I feel ‘normal’ or whatever the fuck that is. The only issue I have is the drive. I can want to rip my woman’s clothes off and infrequently, it will die suddenly in my head, the drive that is. Other than that I’m living the dream. Must be something neural bro.

First off your thread was extremely helpful to me...I was having a hell of a time sleeping, but wasn't sure if it was from the clomid at night.

I am just curious if you had any side effects when you stopped the clomid? I was placed on it to counter the affect of fin on my swimmers and was taking 12.5ED, but after some recent labs I am tapering down to 6.25ED...oddly neither my GP or Fertility Doc can answer if I should be breaking from it or cycling (GP suggests 3wks on 1wk off, Fert says stay on).

Here are my Pre and Post labs...the taper down to 6.25 was to get my LH & FSH a little lower.
