I see now why you went back to gym earlier than dr recommended. im going on 4 weeks post-op and i honestly wouldnt even know i had surgery.

If not for my shoulder not being quite ready yet id start lifting again now. but at least i can now do heavier rehab stuff for my shoulder.

What i do miss is cardio/conditioning/core work. man ill be a mess getting back into that

I think we dont realize how much injuries affect us until theyre healed.
 
Ive been really busy with real life stuff. Ive been reading a few threads in my spare time, but I probably wont be posting much in the next few days.
 
I think you have an obligation to those of us following your thread, to stab it with a needle and show us what comes out [emoji50]

I actually did poke it with a needle. Probably didnt go deep enough. According to the web its just elbow bursitis. Its the same elbow thats been bothering me since my last log. Broscience time: I kind of blame the deca. It helped with the pain, but probably just masked the injury which is over use.

Thats the thing with deca. Helps ease the pain of injury just enough so you can REALLY beat it up.
Your prob rt about it being bursitis, comes with the territory i suppose. Aint never a time when i dont have some kind of bursitis going on specially the shoulders and inner elbows.

This week is a deload, then Im supposed to test out maxes Friday but I tweeked my knee squatting and my elbow has gotten much worse.

Its gotten more swollen and purple and actually hurts..bad. Gotta see the doc on this one.

Hernia scar is as healed as its gonna get

No pain at all there.

Depending on my elbow outcome Ill have a decision to make on my meet in february or if I continue along at all. These injuries are starting to get to me. I know its part of the game but I feel like the last year+ has been one step forward, two back.
