JayMax - From Hernia Surgery to Greatness

I've been interested in The Cube Method for awhile. Not the vanilla version, but one I saw on YouTube. I think it's Cube Kingpin RTS.

Yeah. I should be running that one, but I couldnt find a plug and go app for it :(

With that one you do 3 fays with each lift everyday. But one day the lift is heavy, one light, and one speed. Then a 4th day for bbing. The one Im running is one day of each lift so you have one heavy day a week of only that one lift, then another lift is light amd another is speed. 4th day still BB. Its not optimal, but I need something to build myself backup thats not to hard. I havent done any powerlifting since the last week of June.

Here's an example of my first week. As I said I put my maxes in pretty low, but if the weight moves to easy I'll adjust. My favorite part is abs: do some.

Good to see you finally getting back into action again Jay. Hernia surgery or any surgery is a bitch as there's usually loads of downtime. In time you'll become your old great self again!

I haven't done an ab exercise this entire cycle. I was digging very heavy weighted planks before this cycle though. I love 4th day BB day format, too.

Plus powerlifting will build a strong core. So if your diet is right you can actually see em...but my diet will be wrong. Right for me. Wrong for abs.

My diet hasn't been great this last six weeks, I haven't been tracking calories and have been eating what anyone will feed me. I'm pretty good at estimating calories though and that's what I've been doing.

After my hernia, I got a staph infection. They said down time should be about 6 weeks. I didn't get back until about 3 months due to the infection.

Whats your plan after the meet? As far as weight and AAS...

I'm really liking this tren, it'll be four weeks on at the meet. I'm going to run it another month or so after with test at the same dose and gain some weight back before cruising again. That'll make this cycle 20+ weeks, so I'll be cruising for a long while. If I can handle a few more weeks beyond that I'll do it. I'd like to get back to 215-220 before cruising again. I've got enough gh for 4+ months, too.

Also, this deadlift injury is really bad, I'll be off them probably the rest of the year. I guess I'll focus on physique a bit. I'll still squat and bench heavy of course.

I'm still basically homeless, so I've got a bunch of life stuff I've got to work out. Luckily I have a fair bit of gear, so no worries on running out anytime soon. I'm not old-school homeless at least. I just don't have an actual home of my own, I'm still living decent besides that.

What about you, you still gonna do a meet someday?

Planning on it. Should be a lot easier soon. Im moving back to Cali in a month or two since I didnt find any good jobs up here. Where Im moving they have meets damn near every month at the 2 powerlifting gyms down there. Just gotta find one un-tested. Im gonna run this cube for the 9 weeks and I figure by then I should be back to or above my regular strength with the cycle Im on. Once I find a meet date Ill figure out a better program.

Ive been thinking about jumping on the GH train myself. Ive been silently reading the GH threads on here and some other sites. And doing some research on my own. Itll probably have to wait until after my move and the Holidays.

Did my first workout today. As I said I wont be updating workout by workout, just periodically. Used Fury DMZ pre-workout. I actually really liked it. Tasted like a jolly rancher. Got me crazy energized but not so much so that I felt jittery. Kind of felt like Test suspension.
To start off Im weighing in at 236.
Also it hurt to see, but here's my beginning photo. I feel skinny, looking to out on some good mass.

Dayam started Fury already? You gonna run it ED? Can you palm a NBA basketball? Can you dunk a basketball on a 10' goal?

I think that's all the questions...for now.

Nice gym.

USPA and APA are both untested, I know there's a few others as well.
