Good grip, reliable, and you can choose comfort level with different insoles. I’ve been using them for the last 2 years day in day out, without the soles so it’s as flat and close to the floor as possible, like high top deadlift shoes. Not at all comfortable that way though, but I got used to it. Very good for back/hamstrings/quads and keeping tension through the feet for heavier bench press. Without any soles it’s ass for daily steps and incline treadmill. How are those Gasp shoes? After my old Crossfit TR Lites fell apart, I've been looking for a replacement.
any benefit to shoes like this? i usually just run leg sessions without shoes onGood grip, reliable, and you can choose comfort level with different insoles. Oh they also run large, so buy a size down if you get them
Awesome, thank you. Are they narrow? I've got super flat feet so narrow shoes kill me.Good grip, reliable, and you can choose comfort level with different insoles. The grip is very good when you’re doing a squat variation where there is a tilted pad for the feet, or for standing calf movements where you want the feet to stay in place. On the heaviest sets of hack or pendulum shoes with poor grip or socks make my feet slip slowly each rep and I would have to readjust. Same can be said for hip thrusts, or deadlifts. So to minimize risk of slipping/sweat causing some movement when i have to “push” through the feet in some direction, these kind of shoes help me feel secure/stable.any benefit to shoes like this? i usually just run leg sessions without shoes on
I think the toe box or whatever it’s called is pretty normalAwesome, thank you. Are they narrow? I've got super flat feet so narrow shoes kill me.

If you are in very good shape, you can even win your class. It’s not all about weight.I am currently 93kg/205lbs, and need to add another 12.2kg to get to the Classic weight cap which is 105.2kg/232lbs for a 6 foot 2 inches/ 188cm person.
Since December I have added over 6kg stage weight, going from 87 to 93 but ending up leaner than I was previously and with less water, so probably more muscle. That being said I am 4 weeks out with this condition so I probably need to gain something like 14kg muscle mass. I have worked with one coach since that time and will continue through this period with the same coach which will take well over a year.
Today my second rebound and off season push starts.
My cycle is 250 test per week, 250 eq per week and 5iu gh.
My coach will give me a new split tomorrow for the off season, since right now it had adjustments made to be appropriate for cutting. All training is done to or past failure with intensifiers. High volume, high intensity.
I lost a decent amount of strength during this cut because I was at 108.8kg/240lbs, so I lost 35lbs.
For example (with 8 rep range)
I lost 10kg off my RDLs went from 180kg to 170kg.
-15kg from my incline bench 140kg to 125kg
-20kg flat press 160kg to 140kg
-15kg overhead pressing (150kg to 130kg machine)
-40kg leg press (300kg to 260kg)
-20kg tBar Rows- (4 plates to 3 plates)
-40 hip thrust (260kg down to 220kg)
Some of these were also influenced by the fact that I herniated a disc. I still can train every body part correctly but I wasn’t able to hinge and leg press, RDL, or hip thrust for several weeks while my spine healed. So for some time I replaced them with similar movements.
Here are current photos before my rebound and where I start this process before I make my way to the stage
Some different lighting (will take back updates today)

i think you are correct. Some people can win well under the weight cap. I have friends trying for their pro card quite a few kg below their cap, but this is one place in which skeletal structure, height and muscle bellies/insertions make a big difference. If you are in very good shape, you can even win your class. 12 kg lean mass in a year ?
this is i can relate because i have the opposite issue. you're probably tall while im around 180cm. you take all the girls i take all the muscle massi think you are correct. The problem for me personally is that my structure is not good with less muscle mass. I look very stringy especially in the limbs, so I need more weight to look more proportionate due to my skeletal structure.
I also did not say 12kg lean mass in a year, just that I need 12kg. I didn’t set a strict time line.

Very reasonable, especially with shorter guys. Height and bone length makes a huge difference . Some of my friends will try for a pro card In September and are not close to weight cap. But they aren’t D class for height. My buddy won his class on 96kg stageweight
Open BB heavy up to 102kg
Oh for sure hahaha even just powerlifting having a little muscle mass was enough to make things like tinder on easy mode. When I first tried tren at 300 per week on some nights I would use that app to go on several dates in a row. For better or worse having a wife that doesn’t like that makes it hard to get a lot of women, so Im left with super slow gains.this is i can relate because i have the opposite issue. you're probably tall while im around 180cm. you take all the girls i take all the muscle mass
