Different strains different times . My Kush plants (after 12/12 cycle starts) show hairs at 2 wks , buds start forming at 4 weeks they do most of their bud growth between the 5th and 7th week and they finish with 5-10% amber trichomes at 8 weeks or so . Thats the bud cycle . Ready .

Dont know if you know this but here in hawaii we have a year round season. I can harvest every week of the year, outdoors!!

I know , a good friend of mine grows the Puna bud year round in Kona. He just opened 2 dispenseries in Alaska (where the $$$ is) and he will specialize in Hawaiian cannabis strains. I think hes applying for licenses there too .

The original Hawaiian strains, the ones i grew up growing and smoking had no names just where they were grown so puna bud, kona gold and kau colas. Still the strongest weed i ever smoked in my life. But very few people still have them cause everybody switched to the quick blooming indicas that jave fancy names.
I still have those seeds and might just get some going in the near future.
If your buddy is from kona, we might have bumped into each other at some point[emoji4]

But where's the money in that? I would love to see the va at least incorporate it into their treating of ptsd and other psychological disorders instead of writing a shitload of prescriptions and making guys worse.

there really isn't no great sums of money to be made. especially compared to 250k for the treatment of cancer you are sure to die from. how can a company stay in business poisoning you to death? if I had PSTD I would seek my own treatment instead of pills, but that is me. I already self medicate for what ever ails me.

Without it being legal I can't self medicate with marijuana as my job piss tests me.

I really hope it does. When I was in Germany and used to travel to Amsterdam the culture of bud is so badass.

Yeah, I love the way he used to train, but I was never big on his physique. After listening to his interviews since his retirement, he is becoming one of my favorites of all time. He just says it how it is. Much needed in this world and especially the sport of bodybuilding.

plants are 3 weeks into flowering about. They are looking so beautiful. I trimmed all the fan leaves off to allow for more light to get iin. I am going to be doing this a couple times because it gets real bushy. I didnt train the plants to much. Just some bending here and there. I am so happy it's looking nice and hairy.

if it was me I would only take off the fan leaves that have started to turn yellow, if they're still green and do not easily pull off, leave those leaves on.

I tend to crack the branches a little when I bend them to avoid over growth in my space. So I was thinking that I am doing the cropping by bending to late in the plants life. But I see other do it. The plant has about 4 more weeks of flower til complete. Maybe I should of cropped it at a younger age. Anyone have an opinion?

The cracked branches can cause infection in the plant. But they are healing ok. Good enough to still bud. I twisted the plant stem in my fingers and let the stem drop for cropping. But when I twisted it broke a little/cracked.

How high on eaach plant should one bend the branch?

Or any other opinions would be nice...

Just be careful not to trim to many off. I think of them as solar panels. They absorb light and turn it into energy for your plant. Energy to build BIG FAT BUDS!!??
