Now following you. That shit looked super easy
Thanks, but that's just me screwing around there. Check a few posts down on page 168 of this thread for some heavy lifting.

Been in awe of those before, bro I was only commenting on how easily you shifted the weight in the last vid.
I like this song for the cardio
Thanks, brother. I was surprised with that hook grip set, too. Had never attempted more than low 400's hook grip before and it was a probably a year ago.
It's odd though - you seem strong like a fucking ox, but your base appears to be quite narrow. Is that intentional?
Base? You mean my deadlift stance? For some reason super narrow is my strongest pulling position. It's unusual from what I've seen.
Yes. Have you got long femurs? Otherwise you might just have been conditioned wrong. I can't really comment because I've got torn ligaments all over, but spreading my stance immediately made me feel stronger.
i think with sumo its more benefical then conventional. i feel my under hand rub along my leg during lockout of heavier weights which slows me down a tad im sure. thats the only reason ive been thinking about switching.
I'm believe I'm more shorter legged in comparison to my torso, hence my better deadlift leverages, although I've never measured. Totally possible on me being conditioned wrong as I was entirely self taught until last year when I first worked with a coach.
As to the reasoning for the stance when I go wider I tend to lock my knees to quickly and stiff leg the weight. I don't have the same ability to drive the weight properly that way either, like the execution is off somehow. Also very narrow allows my arms to hang fully perpendicular to the floor with minimal dragging against my legs.
Are you taller by chance? I've noticed the wider stance conventional seems the preferred stance of taller guys.
Pretty average height at 5'11''. I've had several knee ligament ruptures from playing rugby (the sport of men), and going wider seems to take a lot of stress off them. Also got feet as flat as pancakes, and oddly wider makes it easier to prevent my knees from caving inwards with a slightly open foot placement.
You're going great guns though - I hope I didn't appear to be critical. It was just a casual observation out of interest
Psht you are so an expert at cutting! Even when you're bulking you're cutting that's how good you are at it!No, feedback is great. Might be the difference that adds a few pounds here or there if it pans out. I'm by no means an expert or anything. Flat feet here, too.
