Wanted a clean top single with a solid pause so dropped down to 395, It went well and was clean. Had at least another 5 pounds in me.

Warm up sets went well today so I decided to go 402. Should have worn a skate on my left foot as it slipped twice. Was still able to lock it out with a pause. No signs of the pec issue this week so hopefully I'm done with it. Congestion seemed to be lifting a bit this afternoon. Meet is two weeks from tomorrow. Looking for a solid last week plus of training to set me up for a good effort.
Looks like its all coming together, lifts look solid, i think your gonna do great MP!!
 
Not yet - but soon... and I could never stay away from an mp log. I would need a carrier penguin to bring me updates if I were in the arctic.

I'm pretty sure the hot girlfriend in the hotel room will suffice to keep you away. I will text you if anything noteworthy happens.

Shit session. Struggled of all of the doubles at 475. Just didn't have much today.

400 was clean and solid. Had at least 5 maybe a little more in me. I will be working up each day this week starting Tuesday. Hoping to hit 410 by the end of the week.

Decided not to temp fate and skipped 406 in favor of 407. Legit pause and press was pretty smooth. 413 should be there meet day. Keeping my ass down will be the issue. Really clean on 403 yesterday, much closer to coming up today on 407.

How you're able to unrack a max effort bench attempt is beyond all reality. Nice work, MP, you're going to do great at the meet!
Thanks my friend. It is all in what you get used to. Set up has to be several inches back towards the uprights in order to stay tight other than that not much difference.

410 wasn't as quick as 408.5 yesterday but moved evenly and wasn't a grind.

Nice lift on the 408.5 looked smooth, so no surprise to me you hit 410, cause when i watched the video i thought to myself " he's got more".
