Yesterday's log...

Day 4 (Thurs)
arms / abs / calves

arms are my favorite day woo hoo

I was a little frustrated on the strength loss again so I was doing some reps at a higher weight and then completing with a lower weight once I hit failure, so I'll list both.

Bicep curl (bar) - 3 sets - 4 reps @ 45, 6 @ 40
Bicep curl (dumb bells) - 3 sets - 3 reps @ 20 lbs (each arm), 7 reps @ 17.5 lbs.
Tricep pull down (cable) - 3 sets, 10 @ 32.5 lbs
Tricep Push Down (machine) - 3 sets, 10 @ 110 lbs

Abs - 3 sets of an circuit with no rest between reps (meaning the 3 different types, I definitely between the entire sets lol)... 15 reps weighted incline crunches @ 10 lbs on highest incline... 20 reps on captains chair... then 20 oblique twists on incline bench, same setting...

6 sets of calf on donkey press... 15 reps @ 120 lbs. (I just thought I should note, I'm including the sled weight)

I adjusted my macros and was really happy about it... was at 248 p / 220 c / 70 g fat or 40p/35c/25f. Total of 2,462 calories for the day.

I'm aggravated with splitting the tablets 4 ways, I'm actually measuring it before splitting because when I cut it the second time, it goes everywhere and so I'm just breaking it into chunks and weighing out 1/4 of a 10 mg tablet twice a day. It's not only irritating but wasteful. I can't wait until 10 mg starts because I know I will not need to be as anal then as long as I'm getting close to splitting in half.

My energy levels are a little better today... No sides to report.

I had 2 weeks off working out due to vacation, stress, and sickness. I lost 10 lbs on compound lifts and 5 on isolation ones. I would not think it that bad, if I was lifting heavier... but at this stage it's frustrating. I blame my diet while I was on vacation at least partially. Celiac and in a strange city was frustrating. I got as much protein as I could but I think it hurt me.

I also had terrible insomnia during that time...

I'm sleeping like a baby the last week - except for coughing the other night, from residual sinus draining from my cold but even that wasn't as bad as before... I want through 3 months where I didn't sleep more than 4 hrs in a stretch, I'd try to take naps to make up for it, but I know it's never as good as 7 or 8 hours straight through...

So... today was a good day in the gym! I went up on my squats, although I hit failure on the 6th rep of my last set, I know over all its a victory! Up 10 lbs on hamstring curls had me very excited, because when I set at 70 lbs, which is what I did Monday, the weight felt like it almost flew up. Exhilarating. I also went up in weight on cable exercises.

I did something stupid on my glute thrusts so I'm calling myself out to LISTEN TO MY BODY. At rep 8 of 15 on the last set, I thought I could feel the bar on my hip and I glanced down and saw the pad so I kept going. When I finished was when I saw that the bar had come out of the velcro area and actually was resting directly on my hips. I had to get up and walk that off for about 5 minutes... stupid, lol... I'm also sporting some interesting bruises. Also funny to me is that I never see anyone else doing this...

Diet I didn't do as well. Boyfriend got home from work and wanted to go out... I found something on the menu by miracle that was both wheat free and low fat... but then I was short on carbs and a little low for calories for the day, although I know I could have done much worse. I sat and drank water while he drank beer, lol.

Ended up with 150c / 70f / 242p or 27c / 29f / 44p... total 2197 calories.

My boyfriend has finally decided to join me in the gym... I love when he does, it's so sexy to me. I've got a small back workout planned for today, but mostly spotting him. And then it's rest day and cheat day tomorrow. There's an oyster festival so I'm super excited about that too.

Ps woops crap... upped my dose last night so technically yesterday I was at 7.5 mg anavar... as of today I'm up to 10 / day. No side effects to report.
 
Log Day 6 - Saturday

Didn't do much for working out today as in my 6th day in a row, lol. But like I said I was mostly going to support the boyfriend...

Lat pull downs - 3 sets of 15 @ 60 lbs
One arm bent over rows - 3 sets of 15 @ 22.5 lbs
Negative Chin ups - 3 sets of 10


Diet was pretty good today. Finished at 220 c / 62f / 246p or 35c / 23f / 41c. It's tough to get it exactly as I want, lol... close enough.

Tomorrow is cheat and rest day. I don't count macros on cheat days, I just get my protein in.. .

My hip flexors are TIGHT. I have this massage wand (lol no not that kind) that I use to get at the knots, it's helping loosen it up. I think I may get a massage too. Good to rest up!!

At 10 mg today... a little sweaty last night but I think it was unrelated, that happens often to me.

It's fun not worrying so much if I'm over training. I've enjoyed this week a lot.
 
Log update. I took Monday off as well because we found out a friend of ours was murdered... I really stopped caring about anything that day...

But I got up yesterday feeling like I could handle shit again so got back to work.

Still on 10 mg. No side effects other than my night sweats have really ramped up.

... Was a quick workout. I was feeling like absolutely crap. It's been 98 or so outside with a heat index over 100 and a zillion degrees humidity. I was out in it for a while Tuesday, chugged a bunch of water... but I think I had a touch of heat exhaustion and dehydration that carried forward.

I'm also definitely noticing I'm "on" something. I was a little sore on Tuesday night but yesterday and today, no soreness. I usually get DOMS pretty bad, especially after leg day, so that's a big deal.

Macros / diet good today. 194 c / 76 f / 279 protein. Total 2,600 calories.

Weight has gone up 1 lb but for all that I know could be water / poop (Lol) / etc etc. I don't see a visual change, it's a little early for that anyway.

Side effects - ah, I'm noticing a sore throat tickle now and then... no other sides yet. Still on 10 mg, split twice daily.

I noticed someone else complaining about how the pills crumble when you cut them... Thought now would be good for some comic relief info... mine do too, you see. And then I lick it all off the cutting board and wash and put it away. LMAO!! It's a sight, for sure. But it gets shit done...

Started my period today.

It was a long workout but I felt good. I was pretty sore last night and unsure I could work out today, but this morning it's just gone again... I love it.

(OK my abs are super sore atm lol)

Diet was good, I didn't hit my carbs... Ended the day with 184 c / 68 f / 279 p. Macros 30/ 25 / 45 with total 2,536 calories..

Side effects - intermittent sore throat. skin and hair are definitely more oily.

I didn't update my log... Friday was an off day for me, finishing out an emotional week. I took Saturday & Sunday as rest days and cheated on diet both days. Bulking is fun... :D I do keep up with my protein and I'm mindful of my diet but I take time from religiously counting everything and I consider that my cheats. if I want a little more carbs, fuck it. :D

I didn't finish my abs or workout over the weekend because I was feeling like I had exhausted my adrenals... which I've done before so I know the signs... ready to go back today and kill it.

On training days my diet is staying on point, and around 2500 - 2600 calories. my body has adjusted to all the protein...

No sides, even the sore throat is gone. no more night sweats either.

I'm slightly considering bumping the dose but most of the time I see women hit 15mg it seems like she has trouble with the mood swings and I'm particularly concerned about raging out... I got a temper already hehe.

Tonight is leg and ass... I'm trying to do some research on weight training I can do morning and night instead of 2 hr sessions once a day...

I feel amazing.

I passed my squat plateau and my mind-muscle connection were on point.

Scale says up 5 lbs, from 142.2 to 147.2. I do feel bloated in my midsection. Someone asked... it's not major but I'm retaining water somewhat...

some sensitivity downstairs... no other sides. I feel like my muscles have hardened some, but visually I am not seeing it. I do notice minor changes... minor. But I'm happy with progress.
 
Tuesday log - day 15

Workout was good, diet was a mess. I got the munchies really bad... ended up at 2800 calories but macros 30 c / 30 fat / 40 p. My fat intake was ridiculous. I can't do that regularly, bulk or no. So this is me swearing next time I'm going to do better...

I spoke way too soon when I said my soreness was less. Holy shit my glutes and legs are sore, I think from the weight I was pushing on the press. Not too sore but I won't be able to do glutes 3x this week. anyway it feels good to be a little sore and I'm not complaining just updating.

I am still not having any real side effects so I think I will increase my dose to 15 mg or 5 mg 3x daily starting tomorrow... A little sweaty, a little more oily on my skin at first but now I'm not having anything not even a sore throat...

Diet was much more on track today, I finished a little short on carbs and 5 grams short on fat...

Macros this weekend were a mess, I had family from out of town and they wanted to go out to eat.

I'm weighing in at 150. I'm going to try eating at maintenance (2200) for a week... I didn't plan on going over 150 this fast... gotta stop breaking my macros and creating extra work for later.

Started 15 mg on Day 18. No major sides to report. Every once and a while my voice cracks but I clear my throat and it's fine... I feel a little bloated in the mid section.

It's crazy how different machines feel differently... Frustrating I didn't squat more today... Someone at the gym noticed something is up and said, "woah" pointing at my shoulders which has me self conscious. But that's just because I'm shy lol.

Did well on lowered calories today, it wasn't that much lower... 2150 calories total. 175g carbs / 60g fat / 221g protein. 32/26/42 specific macros. It's bed time and I feel great. No new side effects to report.

Diet has gone really well this weekend , which feels good instead of being a total pig.

Side effects showing up. I noticed some shedding (hair) but it's not bad and I have extrenely thick hair so I think I'll be okay. My throat seems a little hoarse, but I'm not crackling or anything... And I've noticed my skin is breaking out, and I'm more oily so I need to be careful. I'm definitely swollen downstairs, but not bad. And the sweating is bad, I get super hot and sweaty both while working out and sleeping.

still on 15 MG daily, split into 3 doses. Splitting the tablets remains a complete PITA.
