My friend just got 20 years for roids. I quit

If this is his first time getting in trouble, he will be charged with an F1 5-99years which more than likely he will end up getting the minimum. If I recall correctly on a 5pc you'll do 27 months or so.

I had a cop once at my door for a noise complaint, they asked to come in. I said no, then they said they just wanted to talk to everyone so I said I'll bring them outside but You CANNOT come in.
Then here comes his little trick, I go to shut the door to go get my friends and he blocks the door before I close it and says he has to "watch me so I don't come back with a weapon"
I was like fine whatever, I turn around in my living room and there he is STANDING RIGHT THERE in my fucking house.
Because I "left the door open" he can legal walk in.
He searched the whole place, found nothing, looked like and idiot, and left.

And the rest of the story is ……. such as have you had "other problems with LE", did you file a complaint, or what did he mention as probable cause to ENTER an house with the occupants in attendance verbally denying access?

Rest assured I'm no friend of LE as some in LE (they are almost always younger cops) operate on the edge from a legal perspective.

A similar situation occurred with myself, because of my teenage sons behavior, and after the SECOND episode of harassment I filed a formal written complaint, personally handed it to the Dallas police chief, and that SHIT STOPPED !!

I don't know your particulars BUT for some of these SOC you give them an inch they will TAKE an mile, especially if you are "on their radar"! Report it and chances are it WILL HAPPEN AGAIN!

Yeah man if I could do it over again I would have written a formal complaint

Also, I think they can enter your house with the permission of any one of your guests or friends inside even if they don't live there.

Its been said "consent is an officers best friend" for many reasons.

But what's even more important is the reason or probable cause justification for entering ones domicile wo being INVITED.

FEW cops know or understand "the law" and that's often why many prosecutorial cases are dropped, violating the rights of others!

None of this story makes sense. Youre intentionally misleading the facts for sensationalism. Plus, the date the charges were laid and the conviction date do not add up, in fact it's almost impossible - 6 days? You can barely arrange an arraignment or first appearance in less than a week, let alone complete a trial.

No way! His friend has already been executed on death row for juicing I JUST heard. They first tried lethal injection but it just made him more jacked, so they shot him... With bullets.

You should have gotten a copy of the police report then filed a civil complaint and suit.

Well its a non violent crime, for 22 years you could end up only serving a quarter of that. Plus half of that for good behavior. Could probably end up serving 3-5 years
