New Anavar Cycle

UPDATE:

I am halfway through my cycle. I unfortunately had to take a week off because I got extremely sick. I took an entire week off from lifting. My body was not ready or able to get through a workout. Since I was put on an antibiotic, I did stop the VAR while on it. I am not a pharmacist, so I did not know what the drug interactions were going to be.

However. Since I returned to the gym this last Thursday and had a great leg day! I did not hit my personal best, it was my first day back in a week, and I was recovery from respiratory illness. I went for quality sets and reps. I did get close to my personal best, but I just did not have enough in the tank to push it. I had to think about finishing my week of work, and being the best version of myself at my job.

I have seen a huge increase in my strength. Today I was able to 5 body weight pull upd with 25% assistance from my husband just holding my toes. I did not rely on a machine, but I am getting close to not needing assistance at all. This is a HUGE goal for myself. I am hoping by the end of this cycle I can do them completely on my own.

My muscle size is increasing as well. I have started to plan what I am going to do when I get off this cycle. Then I will start my next cycle in May.

It feels really good to be back at the gym and back on my cycle. I am hoping with lots of rest this weekend and gym time, I will kick this illness to the curb.

glad you're feeling better! hope the next 4 weeks will really be stellar for you! I just started on my very first var cycle this week, so love reading your updates! gives me an idea of what's to come... (without the illness, i hope! haha)

The shoulder day pump for me has been absolutely insane. I honestly feel like I cannot function until it goes down. What I’ve had to do is walk on the treadmill with my hands out directly in front of me. It looks like I am holding on, but it’s the only way I can get the pump to go down.

Have you tried taurine?? It helps me so much with pumps.

Nice job on your cycle!!! I remember the first time I was able to do pull ups without assistance. I was so proud. Same with dips.

Keep killin it!! [emoji1320]

I will try that when I do my next cycle in May! Girl, I’m gonna hit you up for some cutting advice. Cutting is my
Plan for when I’m off this cycle and shred this body fat down

Week 3 Update

Sides-
Still hot flashing like a menopausal woman. Sweet Jesus.
BUT the headaches are gone. That is a major plus. Give me all the hot flashes I can get through that, headaches are the worst.

GAINS
DAMN! I have been absolutely killing it with increasing my weights each workout. I cannot believe the amount of weight I have been able to add each workout. Last week I had a really tough week at work, and my stamina was a little lower. However this week it's been really good! My muscle development is definitely beginning to show. I am really happy about this. I feel like i'm going to rip out of my jeans each time I put them on. It's nice to have that once a week jean day to see how my quads are busting out. :)

Definitely by Week 3 side effects are totally gone. I do have some nipple sensitivity, but whatevs. My headlights may just be on a little more often.

Tomorrow is LEG day

I feel like I'm busting out of my jeans when I walk out of Red Robins!

Sounds like your killing it in the gym, awesome

I am happy to share I hit 205 on my squat today! So freaking happy. The goal was 200 by the end of my cycle. 205 at the halfway point is just the icing on the cake. I’ll be the bitch that can’t walk tomorrow but with a huge smile on her face!

Yesssssss!!! Congrats!!! That’s awesome!!!

Congrats on your gains!!! Can’t wait to see where you wins up!!

It’s been a great week of lifting! Not only did I exceed my squat goal, I also hit 135 on my bench press. My wrist and thumb have decided to start tweaking, so for shoulders I could only press with 45s, but I did do 35s for more reps. Still had a great workout. I have about 3 weeks left. Very happy with how this week wrapped up. Gonna celebrate with getting my thigh tattoo finished up! [emoji123]

I am heading into my last week of my cycle. I've decided to go up to 20 mg for my last week. I am just ready to end it. 8 weeks is soo freaking long. I already got my gear for my summer cycle. I am so pumped about that.
I hit 210 on my squat today, another PR. My thumb is jacked up from something, so I got some wraps to help stabilize my wrist is that is where the pain is coming from.

Coming off this cycle and back into the natty life, I am going to really put all my focus into cardio and dropping this body fat percentage. I love what var has done for my strength, but now I need to drop this fat to really hit my results.
I am happy with my diet, I switched to reverse diet to help repair my very broken metabolism, and I've seen some really great results from that.

So happy St. Patty's day! I will share results at the end of next week!

Just out of curiosity: how much cardio were you doing while on the var cycle?
I'm at 1hr per day (fasted), and wondering if that's enough to stay lean while growing muscle mass during my cycle.
Thanks & looking forward to an update!

I did 15 mins a day, then 30 mins just alone. But I hate cardio. My goal during my off time is to increase cardio. I’m going to start fasted cardio this week on this last week of an upper dose. I’ll let you know how it goes. I’ll definitely be incorporating more cardio during my next cycle. I held water like crazy

Cycle Update:
So I have ended my cycle. I did 6 weeks, and that was long enough! I did attempt to push 20 mg this week, and that was horrible. (insert Brian from family guy on ADHD meds). Yikes, it was just not a good combination for me. I couldn't split my pill since I have capsules. I was beginning to feel out of control with my mood and emotions. With my career, I cannot be in that type of state, so it was best to wrap it up for now. At the beginning of my cycle, I was feeling so amazing and happy, but now this last week, the smallest things pissed me off to where I was seeing red. That and the combo of PMS. My poor husband saw quite the roller coaster this week. I love the var, but I gotta do what's best for my body, marriage and job.

In review of this cycle it was absolutely the best decision I made. I had a lot of negative support and comments at the beginning, but I achieved exactly what I wanted. I gained a tremendous amount of strength. I was able to push through plateaus, and really gain endurance for working out. The area where I have gained the most amount of strength were in my squats and my bench press. I went well above my squatting goal and my bench press blew up. Those are the goals I had for myself.

Now that I am coming off my cycle, I am in a reverse diet mode to repair my metabolism, as well as incorporating fasted cardio 4 to 5 days a week in the mornings, and then regular cardio with my lift sessions. In the past cardio has been a great fat burner for me. So I am really going to be pushing that before I start my next cycle in June. I will be pushing Var again in June. I have my gear for that, and will be rolling that in June 1st. If I am continuing to see good results with more cardio, I will continue with that on the next cycle. I fucking hate cardio.

I sincerely appreciate all the positive comments I received throughout this process. It was fucking amazing. I can't wait for June!
