New Anavar Cycle

Week 1 Update
So I have officially been cycling for a week. I am extremely happy with how my body has adapted to the var. I haven't had any crazy side effects. My clitoris is still normal, my hair is still attached to my head and my voice is still normal. The only side effect I've really had are hot flashes. I WILL LIVE WITH THAT! The energy I have is amazing, and I feel like after my workouts I have really natural let down of that energy. I have not taken melatonin in almost a week, which is something I heavily rely on to get to sleep. I am sleeping a solid 7 hours or more each night, and wake up refreshed.

Workouts-
I've completed an entire week of my normal lifting routine with cardio. The pumps have been pretty amazing. Today my shoulder pump was painful and really overwhelming. This is a muscle I take so much pride in with growing. I have a lot of strength in my shoulders and I am so excited to see that growth. I really pushed my weights and reps today. The quality of those reps was top notch. I feel like I can workout for hours, the recovery is amazing between sets.

Nutrition-
I've been hitting my macros daily within have only a few grams left in carbs and fats, then going slightly over in protein. Including my protein PB & J! HELL YES!

Overall
I feel so good on anavar. I have anxiety, and I feel like the var has completely take away that or at least lessened it. I feel so good, so happy and confident in my ability and strength. I've been on anxiety meds for 10 years and the feeling I get on var is something I've never experienced. I am so calm and relaxed. I have a high stress job, and I have spent the last week so calm and just taking stress with a grain of salt.

Mentioning painful pumps...on var I get hellacious back pumps occasionally while training back and always get bad hamstring pumps on leg day. Got to the point I quit taking var on leg day as it became unbearable at times.

I did legs on Saturday and I seemed fine. I’m only taking 10 mg, but I’ll keep an eye out. My most painful pump as come from shoulders. That was intense!

Literally my hamstrings would lock up and I’d be walking around looking like I’m trying not to shit my pants :(

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that! A week in, I’ve had really good experiences. Having some headaches, but that’s it
Lol it’s all good. I gave var up several months ago because It was a year in between getting bloods. Everything came back good and now blasting primo and debating if I’m gonna finish up with var :D

I think Var is different for everyone. I know I’ve read things about how women react and what not. I know men take it in much higher dosage. So I’ll be interested to hear what you decide to do!

I’ve ran it anywhere from 40-100mg and loved all of it. A lady friend of mine had a great run at 20mg and the only aides she experienced was acne...but like you said everyone is different.

I have seen a small increase in ache, but my period ended just before I started my cycle and I was on an antibiotic which can cause break outs. My skin is naturally oily, so having to do a little extra maintenance isn’t a huge deal.
My hot flashes have gone away and that was the biggest side effect I had. Today I’ve had a dull headache but I think it’s weather and pressure related. It’s suppose to drop about 30 degrees where I live overnight.

I understand the feeling. Our temperature is like 30 in the morning and 65 in the evening

I am so excited. I hit 175 on my squat today, and 115 for my bench press on Thursday. Shoulders I attempted 45 Shoulder press, but I failed. I did get a few sets with 40lb dumbbells. Biceps I’m curling 35 lbs and triceps I’m pulled 65 lbs.

Nice work!!!!! [emoji1434]

WEEK 2 UPDATE

I've been pushing 10 mg of var for the last two weeks. I am seeing tremendous gains and change with my body composition. I am surprisingly not holding any water and actually seem to be needing to urinate frequently.

The only side effect I feel are occasional hot flashes, but I am always frequently moving, so that isn't a huge surprise. Always carrying extra deodorant!

My strength has really increased. I've been able to add about 20 more pounds to my lifts. Stamina has increased as well. I feel like I could work out for hours. It's a really nice boost in energy when I get home. Emotionally I feel really strong and stable. As someone who struggles with anxiety, I have to say that I haven't had any anxious feelings while on this cycle. That is so refreshing!

Week 3 Update

Sides-
Still hot flashing like a menopausal woman. Sweet Jesus.
BUT the headaches are gone. That is a major plus. Give me all the hot flashes I can get through that, headaches are the worst.

GAINS
DAMN! I have been absolutely killing it with increasing my weights each workout. I cannot believe the amount of weight I have been able to add each workout. Last week I had a really tough week at work, and my stamina was a little lower. However this week it's been really good! My muscle development is definitely beginning to show. I am really happy about this. I feel like i'm going to rip out of my jeans each time I put them on. It's nice to have that once a week jean day to see how my quads are busting out. :)

Definitely by Week 3 side effects are totally gone. I do have some nipple sensitivity, but whatevs. My headlights may just be on a little more often.

Tomorrow is LEG day

@MrsVlad enjoying your journey. I'm currently on 20mg daily of var. Been on this cycle for a few weeks now. Have taken it before, at this dose.
Anyway, totally didn't wanna hijack your thread. Just wanted to follow along as a fellow female bb'er......and give you support!
