New Anavar Cycle

Cycle Update:
So I have ended my cycle. I did 6 weeks, and that was long enough! I did attempt to push 20 mg this week, and that was horrible. (insert Brian from family guy on ADHD meds). Yikes, it was just not a good combination for me. I couldn't split my pill since I have capsules. I was beginning to feel out of control with my mood and emotions. With my career, I cannot be in that type of state, so it was best to wrap it up for now. At the beginning of my cycle, I was feeling so amazing and happy, but now this last week, the smallest things pissed me off to where I was seeing red. That and the combo of PMS. My poor husband saw quite the roller coaster this week. I love the var, but I gotta do what's best for my body, marriage and job.

In review of this cycle it was absolutely the best decision I made. I had a lot of negative support and comments at the beginning, but I achieved exactly what I wanted. I gained a tremendous amount of strength. I was able to push through plateaus, and really gain endurance for working out. The area where I have gained the most amount of strength were in my squats and my bench press. I went well above my squatting goal and my bench press blew up. Those are the goals I had for myself.

Now that I am coming off my cycle, I am in a reverse diet mode to repair my metabolism, as well as incorporating fasted cardio 4 to 5 days a week in the mornings, and then regular cardio with my lift sessions. In the past cardio has been a great fat burner for me. So I am really going to be pushing that before I start my next cycle in June. I will be pushing Var again in June. I have my gear for that, and will be rolling that in June 1st. If I am continuing to see good results with more cardio, I will continue with that on the next cycle. I fucking hate cardio.

I sincerely appreciate all the positive comments I received throughout this process. It was fucking amazing. I can't wait for June!

That's awesome, congratulations!
Now that you're done with your cycle and switching focus to losing body fat, would love to hear what protocols you're going to apply in order to do that (diet, cardio, supplements, etc...)
I'm signed up to do a bikini competition roughly 4 weeks after my cycle ends, and I'm sure I can benefit from you sharing your experiences in this area! :-)

How'd you do with body weight change and measurements? Glad to hear it went well

Body weight actually went up due to the amount of water I was holding, so taking that knowledge and experience, I will definitely continue with fasted cardio through my next cycle. As for measurements, I definitely gained inches in muscle mass. My legs grew weekly, my shoulder popped more, and my biceps grew. I lost more breast tissue.

Now that I have started fasted cardio in the AM, i am seeing a an increase in my leaning out. So this is something I will need to continue with my next cycle in June. However, I miss the recovery var gave. My whole body just hurts today. Every muscle I have used is screaming today. If anyone has any recommendations for recovery support, I am all ears!

I did hit 225 on my squat after I ended my cycle, but I did still have my build up of Var in my system. However I have been able to continue to push myself through my workouts. The fasted cardio has really given me an energy boost too. I am not a morning person, so getting up at 5:30 was not a happy thought, but I enjoyed the high from that.

Diet wise, I am in a reverse phase, so I am hitting higher carb, and protein. I do weekly checks in for adjustments.
Current Macros: with 20% deficit
P- 166
C- 165
F- 63
I hit my protein goals EASILY. I allow myself 1 cheat day and I really keep my macros in mind and only go outside of them by 5-10 grams.
I will continue to update my log for those interested in seeing the off cycle difference. I am excited for this leaning out process and seeing what I did during my bulk during var.

thanks for posting - I'm certainly interested! :-)
I have a love/hate relationship with fasted cardio, so I know what you're going through!

I am loving fasted cardio! I also started takin dandelion root! I may keep that going through my next cycle to help with water.

Post cycle update
I’ve lost 4 pounds in the last 2 weeks. I’m doing fasted cardio 6 days a week for 30 mins, and I started using dandelion root to help with water retention. So happy with the scale movement. As for strength, that is continuing to increase each week still. I hit 235 on my squat last week. I transitioned to just dumbbells did chest day. Threw up 55s. Hitting back and biceps today. I’ve been dealing with some thumb tendon issues. So I’ve been compressing it with wrist wraps. Hopefully it’ll heal soon!

that's awesome! how are you doing with energy levels? are you taking anything currently (other than dandelion tea)?
Also, did you do any post-cycle blood work?

I did not do any blood work. The lab in our city closed! So my husband found one about 45 mins from us, so come May when I am off for summer I will get labs done for summer before my next cycle.

Energy levels are great! I am a terrible sleeper so the extra workout is helping to get me to sleep.

The dandelion root is amazing for digestion and keeping that water off! The scale is a slow mover, but my composition is making me really happy!

Holy smokes, I haven’t done an update in a long ass time! I got my var for my summer cycle. I am in a bulking phase right now. Eating around 2k in calories.
My lifting is skill going strong, I haven’t lost any strength since ending my cycle. Squat is at 225, bench is at 115. I don’t deadlift, too much for my back.
Once I am out for the summer from work, I am going to drop down for cutting. I plan to do a 5k in June for fun. Then start my var in July.
I’ll probably post again before I start my new cycle.
Happy summer!

Quick update. My cycle lasted about a week before I had to stop and prep for wrist surgery. I did not know i was going to be having surgery before starting my cycle. Had surgery 3 days ago. I go back on the 2nd to get stitches taken out and should find out when I can lift again.
