Yes.I guess I was under the impression we are going to try to push people to create an introduction thread or an appropriate one at that. Trying to change the culture for the better?

1000 posts before a member can post in the ug would solve that problem. To me that's a good idea for new members to post up an intro before they can have posting and PM privileges, This way it will cut down on the shills and those who only use the PM system for solicitation without posting. In the end it should be a better experience as a whole for the board.
That makes sense, as well as being a member for at least 6-12 months.1000 posts before a member can post in the ug would solve that problem.
Geez so many whiners and I agree the system as set up by Millard is pretty fair. Why not see how it all plays out before Millard needs to make any adjustments?Professional muscle requires 50 quality posts before members can post in the Sponsor section. New guys here complaining could make things worse for themselves if Millard makes it more restrictive.
It's his grand jury.Professional muscle requires 50 quality posts before members can post in the Sponsor section. New guys here complaining could make things worse for themselves if Millard makes it more restrictive.
There are 25 subforums on MESOI dont really have too strong of an opinion. Its just kind of difficult being a new member and seeing where i can post and cant post.
It should be easy for New Members who genuinely want to be part of the harm reduction community to gain access to the Steroid Underground subforum.Professional muscle requires 50 quality posts before members can post in the Sponsor section. New guys here complaining could make things worse for themselves if Millard makes it more restrictive.
If one has to work for something they appreciate it.There are 25 subforums on MESO
New Members can access and read 25 out of the 25 subforums.
New Members can post in 24 out of the 25 subforums.
The one subforum where New Members must meet minimum requirements to gain posting privileges is the Steroid Underground subforum.
The reason for this restriction is that (historically) New Members rush to the Steroid Underground to engage in one of two behaviors:
(1) praise/promote a source;
(2) ask for a reliable source
First of all, the MESO community values harm reduction first and foremost.
We want to discourage New Members who seem intent on pursuing loyalty to the source over loyalty to the harm reduction community.
Instead, we want to encourage New Members to show commitment to the shared community goals.
This means: don't engage in the aforementioned behaviors as your first interaction with the community. This is rude and disrespectful of a community devoted to harm reduction. Learn proper forum etiquette.
First, this begins by introducing yourself to the community with a thread in the New Member Introduction subforum.
Next, there are dozens of questions you should have about AAS/PED use. Educate yourself by reading and posting your questions/experiences/feedback in one of the 24 relevant subforums.
The last questions you should ask are the ones about source acquisition.
If your first questions are about source acquisition, maybe you need to reevaluate your approach to AAS/PED use.
We can help.
The grumblers are people that just look for sources... I don't think we would lose muchIt's been like a couple weeks now and seems there's grumbling but it's hoped that the new people will come to understand why this is a better system than a free for all which has not been a good experience over the past few years.
Yep, in the past I'd get PMs from shills or new people merely looking for sources and I just report them and it gets tiresome after a while. So it's a good thing those whiners and grumblers would look elsewhere and I've noticed some going to other boards like UGBB.The grumblers are people that just look for sources... I don't think we would lose much
If you feel you are incorrectly classified message @Millard and explain the situation. I really think people who only occasionally sell items in small quantities shouldn't be considered a source.I guess. I am considered a source now for selling stuff. I guess it's only fair to make sure nobody gets scammed/played. which I understand.
Jw When is stop selling stuff so I become a regular member again?
No. I don't. It makes sense. If you feel you are incorrectly classified message @Millard and explain the situation. I really think people who only occasionally sell items in small quantities shouldn't be considered a source.
