so I decided to use DNP to aide in the last bit of my weight on my journey (im a runner and a dancer) and I've been taking about... 75 MG a day total (spread throughout the day). I've been extremely warm and tired but I weighed myself today and I'm still where I was when I started.
22 year old female, 140 pounds. This is only my fourth day.
Should I up my dosage? I haven't had the energy to run since I started the stuff.

That's a pretty low dose. But good to start lower with the stuff, especially as you're smaller than most here.

It will be doing something. Water retention is common with DNP. A lot of users report dropping a substantial amount of weight when coming off of it. So that could be hiding progress. But, as you said, it's still early.

Whether the dose is high enough is up to you. I would say go up to 250 (crystal), but I'm reticent to recommend that, as I don't know a damned thing about female dosing procedures. The cataract issue seems to turn most of you off it, probably for good reason. Hopefully someone else will have more for you on the subject.

I am a little shocked that a "runner and dancer" is overweight... Am I missing something? Not to be a dick, but, every serious runner / dancer I have known has been incredibly lean.

And yes, you're expecting too much.

I hadn't heard it was bad for women to use. Hmm. I did read somewhere that women on it is controversial.
I figured I should start low because of some of the horror stories I've read.
So it is working - I'm just retaining water.
Should I be running?

I'm not overweight but at one point u was due to some medical issues and I've had a lot of trouble losing the last but.

Your assumption is not necessarily true! Why ASSUME you are retaining water, and it is working? HA!

It could be completely bunk for all you know, and that's why nothing is happening.... Your lack of research before using a potentially deadly product is terrifying, to say the least. Good luck, as I don't even feel comfortable recommending anything here.

No, I've done research. I don't exactly have money for tons of it.
I'm assuming that because that's what everyone here is telling me and that's what I've read other places.

It just makes you go blind sometimes. . .

You'll probably want to maintain a deficit at that dose. Whether you do that through running, or just cutting food intake is up to you. Be extremely careful about dehydration and hyperthermia.

You need to look into this stuff a bit more if you are going to continue. Are you supplementing with antioxidants? I have seen high dose vitamin C suggested as a precautionary measure against the cataracts. I don't have citations for anything, or even remember where it was.

Search DNP on this forum. The big thread by CBS has some valid info from both sides of the argument, and there is another good one. And I assume you've read the sticky?

Do be careful.
