Had a bit of a setback in Sept. Slightly injured my back in a strongman workout (heavy yoke runs - did 6 of 'em in one workout - that was dumb on my part). Really only hurt at the top of a deadlift but was tight for other lifts. Took a week off of deads and went light for second week with foam rolling and rolling around on a softball to work on the bad spot. Lifts suffered a bit but had a good session this morning and last Friday.

Squats 185x5, 190x5x2
Bench 115x5x2, 120x5x2
Deadlift 245x5x2

Omitting OHP for a bit due to the back issue, but before the injury I was doing log and axle press every Sunday. Worked up to 115 on both.

OK, so after the last "good" session I reported things went downhill. I ended up making a chiropractor appointment (never been to one) and I had a rib and several vertebrae out of place. The rib in particular was the main issue. Got it back in place and I've finally been healing this week! Did deads with 225 with no pain for the first time in 3 weeks today so I'll be adding some weight next week in hopes that it's finally better. I'm sure I injured myself on the heavy yoke carries---I'll be avoiding those for a while. ;)

Back still not 100% (rack pulls completely off the table), but training is going well. Powerlifting meet in mid-Dec.

Log press up to 115
squat up to 210x3
pause bench up to 125x3
DL up to 255x3

No other strongman stuff till after the PL meet. Other lifts progressing well at about 5 lbs per week except bench which is slower.

HEEEYYYY I'm still alive! I know it's been a while. Life threw some curve balls and spent way too much time last year injured. Back is finally better---went to the doctor and he prescribed physical therapy.. worked on my back for 2 weeks with no improvement... finally moved to my neck and WAH LAH--back started improving! I had changed up to sumo deadlifts last year and then ended up severely straining my left hip flexor. I still have some slight issue with the area but all wide leg squats and sumo deads are off the table. I'm fine w/narrow stance. With some persuasion I talked the hubs into letting me give the anavar a try again. I just started my 3rd week. Not noticing a LOT of difference other than some massive water weight fluctuations, and a little more pump post workout. I swear I'm sweating like a whore in church too. I'm not really seeing that as a side effect online -- but I am not normally a person that sweats much. It's not even hot here yet and I'm leaking like it's July and 100 degrees outside. Currently in a off season program doing some higher rep sets (gross). But I've lost some strength after being injured and need to build back up. Already done 2 strongman comps this year. Came in first place on the first one (and got best female lifter and came home w/ a sword) and second in the last one. Don't have any more scheduled till July.
