No I actually never focused on strength. I just switched to the 8-12 rep range. I grew really really well on 12-20 rep range and actually got pretty big like that. But I never focused on strength really ever. Besides bench. I can bench 365. Only movement I ever really focused on true strength with. Like my shoulders got big from sets of 20lbs by 25 reps 4 sets on lateral raises. Never really increased weight just added reps and sets and did that for pretty much every body partreally? I would’ve assumed you row three plates for reps. Especially with all that concrete lugging strength lmao
Legs look great bro. Knee caps aren't as bad as imagined. However, take a look at this pic again... looks like your knee has a face or a skull coming through.Double knee View attachment 300278

Lil bit of both haha trying to do more rice and sweet potatoes. Basically just need to hit my carb goal one way or the other manEntertaining thread! Good work. Are you still pounding the cereal or did you go back to a more conventional diet?:]
High reps work for building size. I really do not know why more persons do not do it that way, other than (1) ego, nobody wants to be seen straining at the end of a set with 20 pound dumb bells, and (2) it is uncomfortable. Legs are really uncomfortable by the twentieth rep on squats or leg press. No I actually never focused on strength. I just switched to the 8-12 rep range. Spot on. Risk of injury is much less also. With my job my elbows and knees are taking a beating everyday. I don't want to be crippled by 40.High reps work for building size. It is difficult to focus on rear delts with heavy weights. Your body wants to transfer the work to other muscles in your back.Sometimes on rear delt flys I'll do sets of 30 reps with 15 lb dbs and I feel that perfect form means a whole lot more than weight.
Thank you I feel like more people need to consider this. I feel the same with laterals, I don't want my traps helping at all.It is difficult to focus on rear delts with heavy weights. Your body wants to transfer the work to other muscles in your back.
