I diluted Fertigyn HCG 5000 IU down to 10 IU/mL and tested the solution using a pregnancy test with a detection limit of approximately 8–10 IU/mL. The test came up positive, which strongly indicates that the HCG is dosed to at least the claimed amount of 5000iu. It would be impossible for the concentration to be as low as 500 IU, as suggested by the Jano test last year. My guess is that the HCG sent for the Jano test may not have been stored properly or degraded over time or even expired. The batch I tested was manufactured only a few months ago (and I have been storing in a fridge), which likely explains why it has retained its potency.
